    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

Rotherham keeper Jamal Blackman is quick off his line to sweep up as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall tries to play in Luton team-mate Harry Cornick.

The counter-attack may prove fruitful for the hosts as time goes on and the Millers perhaps become a bit desperate.

  2. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

Luton are getting some quality deliveries into the box but Rotherham are defending for their lives, Wes Harding the latest to make a crucial interception.

  3. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

Some mid-table sides at this stage of the season would possibly roll over against a team who have something to fight for.

But credit to Nathan Jones' Luton, who are as honest as they come and have ambitions of a top 10 finish.

They're certainly not being outfought by Rotherham.

  4. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

The hosts have moved to four at the back as they look to take control of the game.

Rotherham win a free-kick just inside the Luton half but their attempted ball into the box is overhit and goes behind for a goal kick.

The biggest half of Rotherham's season so far gets under way.

Paul Warne's side can't be relegated tonight but victory would put survival in their own hands going into the final day of the season on Saturday.

Luton have made a change, bringing on forward Harry Cornick for Dan Potts, which is an attacking move.

Big goal at The Valley where Jayden Stockley has just put Charlton in front against Lincoln.

The Addicks really need to win to take their play-off bid into Saturday's final round.

Blackpool are on course to book their top-six spot, they still lead Doncaster.

In the other game, it's still goalless between Shrewsbury and Ipswich.

All three matches began at 19:00 BST.

With the title, automatic promotion and play-off positions all decided Saturday's Championship final-day is all about which one of Derby, Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday will stay up.

And just to make things juicier, Derby and Wednesday meet at Pride Park in what promises to be a very tense affair.

We'll be with you from around 11:30 BST on Saturday for full coverage, with the final round in League Two later that day (15:00 BST) and the last batch of League One fixtures coming on Sunday (12:00 BST).

If it were to stay like this then Wayne Rooney's Derby would stay up if they beat relegation rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Rotherham would need to beat Cardiff and hope Derby fail to win on the final day in order to finish the season outside the bottom three, while Sheffield Wednesday would need to win at Derby and hope the Millers fail to win to pull off a great escape.

Elijah Adebayo and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hit the woodwork for Luton.

Matt Crooks strikes the post for Rotherham.

But still we await a first goal at Kenilworth Road, as the visitors chase what would be a crucial victory in their attempts to avoid relegation.

  10. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45+1 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

We're into one minute of added time at the end of the first half at Kenilworth Road.

It remains goalless but I'm not sure how.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 44 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

Rotherham striker Michael Smith becomes the first player to go into the book as he stops Luton keeper Simon Sluga from throwing the ball out quickly.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 43 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

Now it's Rotherham's turn to hit the woodwork!

Matt Crooks lobs Luton keeper Simon Sluga in the box but the ball bounces and flicks off the post.

The visitors were so close to a priceless goal.

  13. League One half-time scorespublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 4 May 2021

As it stands, Blackpool will secure a top-six place. A point would be enough.

Charlton's hopes of making the play-offs would still be alive with a draw, but they really need to beat Lincoln.

    • Blackpool 1-0 Doncaster
    • Charlton 0-0 Lincoln
    • Shrewsbury 0-0 Ipswich
  14. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

OK, the standard here might not be the best but it's still been a great watch.

Luton are expressing themselves and Rotherham are battling away, trying to find that opening.

  15. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

Luton have looked the more likely side to score but Rotherham are carrying some occasional threat and win a corner after a slick move...

However the Millers take it short and the move breaks down. Frustrating.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 31 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

Luton hit the woodwork for a second time!

It's a lovely corner from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall which might be curling straight in, and Rotherham keeper Jamal Blackman manages to palm it onto the post and out.

The relegation-threatened visitors are living dangerously.

  17. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

    All of a sudden this one's end-to-end.

Luton striker Elijah Adebayo crosses but neither James Collins or Dan Potts can get their heads to it in the penalty area.

  18. CLOSE!published at 26 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

    Big chance missed for Rotherham.

Ryan Giles puts in a fine cross from the left and Michael Smith gets away from his marker but heads wide of the target.

He should at least be testing Luton keeper Simon Sluga there.

Darren Evley: Not confident at all - Wayne Rooney and that team we’re going down!

A win for Rotherham would send Derby County into the relegation zone tonight. The Rams then host Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but by then even a win might not keep them up because of Rotherham's better goal difference. Lots of ifs and buts.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 22 mins

    Luton 0-0 Rotherham

    That was close for Luton.

Elijah Adebayo shoots first-time from James Bree's flick-on and it whacks the bar and comes out.

A let-off for Rotherham but that would've been some finish.
