  5. goal

GOAL - Crystal Palace 0-1 Arsenalpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    Nicolas Pepe (35 mins)

Arsenal have lift-off. Bukayo Saka backheels the ball into the path of Kieran Tierney, who crosses in and Nicolas Pepe sweeps it in with a side-footed volley from 10 yards.

  6. Postpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    Spurs 1-2 Aston Villa

Harry Kane has his first shot on target, and just his second shot overall. He sends a defender one way and the other and hammers it stright at Emiliano Martinez at his near post.

  7. Postpublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    Everton 1-0 Wolves

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has gone close to doubling Everton's lead but this has a real end-of-season feel about it. Gylfi Sigurdsson, one of the better players on the pitch, curls an attempt just wide from outside the box.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    Spurs 1-2 Aston Villa

Tanguy Ndombele replaces Harry Winks now. I wonder if Ryan Mason did the subs separately so Gareth Bale could get a proper applause.

Great diving save from Bernd Leno to keep out Wilfried Zaha's volley.

  12. Postpublished at 19:31 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Arsenal

Let-off for Palace. Bukayo Saka bursts in one on one and goes round Vicente Guaita, who has gone for the ball - and goes down.

But he was offside and the keeper didn't make contact. So not a penalty for two reasons.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Arsenal

A chance made for Christian Benteke. Andros Townsend whips in a free-kick but Benteke heads over from close range.

Oliver Camp: Really sorry to say it but Son has been way off his usual standard for weeks now. Needs a break, I reckon. As do I, watching our pathetic attempts at football...

Richard Browne: Leeds have been a marvel this season, but I think they'd be better off not in Europe next year. We've seen how the extra games can affect growing clubs.

    Newcastle 1-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United are actually spraying it around nicely but they're struggling to carve out chances. The Blades have about 110 minutes left in the Premier League. Will they secure one more win before they head to the Championship?

  19. Postpublished at 19:26 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    Spurs 1-2 Aston Villa

Spurs fans call for a penalty as Dele Alli is nudged over by Tyrone Mings in the box but Alli was offside anyway.

  20. Postpublished at 19:26 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    Spurs 1-2 Aston Villa

Ollie Watkins hugely overplays this and Villa could easily be two goals up. He runs onto a good ball over the top, takes a touch to hold off Eric Dier and tries to roll it round Hugo Lloris, who claws it away. He had about three chances to shoot there.
