Richarlison nearly loses his composure after being fouled by Marcos Acuna deep inside Brazil's half. The Everton forward thinks about chasing after his opponent but decides wisely against it in the end.

Temperatures are rising on the pitch. Two yellows so far but that is likely to change.

Di Maria is OK to carry on. His goal is by far the best moment of this final so far. A classy finish in a game peppered by niggly fouls and theatrics from both sets of players.

Brazil haven't really got going - not a lot from Richarlison and glimpses from Neymar. They need to get a grasp of this game quite quickky

Around ten minutes of the first half left and Brazil have yet to force Emiliano Martínez into a serious save.

Not only are they leading but Argentina are spraying the ball around with an air of confidence. Brazil are on the back-foot in the Maracana!

Angel di Maria has wonderful composure, a great touch with the outside of the left foot and then with the quality he has in his left foot he's not going to miss. What a wpnderful finish.
