European play-offs next up on Tuesday

That's it from us as the 'regular' part of the Irish Premiership season comes to a close.

There were emotional scenes at Solitude as Linfield picked up their 55th championship on a day when Andy Waterworth signed off with a goal on his final appearance.

Elsewhere, Coleraine secured runners-up spot by beating Larne, meaning that Glentoran's win over Crusaders was not enough for the east Belfast side.

Glenavon wrapped up the final place in the European play-offs by notching the point they needed against Dungannon, meaning Ballymena United miss out despite a final day win over Portadown, while Warrenpoint Town signed off their season by beating Carrick Rangers.

But we're not done yet with the Irish League action - not by a long chalk.

We'll have coverage of those two all-important European play-off semi-finals on Tuesday night as Cliftonville take on Crusaders and Larne host Glenavon.

You can keep on top of all the action right here.

    Bye for now.

My Linfield career has been filled with highs. Matthew Clarke said to me at half-time that he wanted to be the person to set me up. I was hammering my team-mates throughout the game for not crossing the ball early enough and I was finally able to finish it. The club means everything to me. I came here to win medals and trophies. I'll never forget my phone call with David Jeffrey when I signed with them, it felt right in my stomach. I've loved every minute of it and I'm gutted to leave but I am so proud of what I have achieved.

Andy Waterworth grabs a goal on his final Linfield appearance, of course he does!

Matthew Clarke plays in a low cross and Waterworth swivels and fires into the corner with an excellent first-time finish. What a way to bow out!

He taps the badge in front of the Linfield fans in the away end. That's a moment he'll always remember.

Here come Mark Haughey and Mark Stafford too, who are also set to end their Linfield careers at the final whistle. Two more heroes of this title-winning side.
