Zenit almost do a Jesse Lingard but keeper Stanislav Kritsyuk is there in time to boot the ball into touch.

Bayern a bit guilty of getting drawn into the middle, chipping balls into a heavy-populated area near the centre of the Barca box. Those three central defenders and wing-backs of the home side are forming a five for long periods.

Frantic defending from Barca to keep it 0-0. Jamal Musiala is fed in, in the box and pulls the trigger but in slides Gerard Pique to block. The ball cannons about, with the home defence rallying to finally hack it away.

When Chelsea come forward it's a bank of five and another of four Zenit players in between them and the goal. The Blues are finding it hard to break through.

First blood to Juventus as Alex Sandro's low diving header gives the Italians the lead in Sweden. It's the first goal in Group H. And Chelsea have to go to Turin next.

Zenit keeper Stanislav Kritsyuk just about palms away the corner. It was a bit of a flap but it worked.

It used to be that visiting teams were starved of the ball at the Nou Camp as the home side patiently waited for the moment to strike. Bayern are bossing possession here, though.

It almost opens up for Chelsea for the first time as Romelu Lukaku beats a couple of defenders in the box from Mason Mount's pass but can't get a shot in.

But now Lukaku wins a corner.

You can normally tell by a player's run up whether he fancies the shot or not. When Kuzyaev was running up to the ball his chest was up, pointing to the sky and the ball followed.

Zenit fans are jumping up and down in the away end. They've been on the Gazprom all day by the looks of it.

Bayern have turned up the heat. Joshua Kimmich's deep curling pass to the right side of the box is hot on the volley by Robert Lewandowski. I think it was meant as a cross but ends up a tame shot that Ter Stegen saves.

The first shot on or off target of the game and it's well off target. Zenit's Daler Kuzyaev lashes one from distance, high and wide.

Bayern's first proper threatening effort comes from Leroy Sane, who blasts a volley on target that Marc-Andre ter Stegen sticks out a big palm to block.

Mount was on the ball and Lukaku made four runs for him. Mount couldn't get out of his feet, if he just had a little more space he could have put Lukaku in.

Mason Mount puts in a cross from the corner of the box but it's over Romelu Lukaku and too far for Reece James.

A nice bit of tracking and tackling by Mateo Kovacic to follow Daler Kuzyaev and slide in and win the ball on the wing.

The ball is behind Sergi Roberto as it skips off the turf following a left-wing cross. He tries to swing a boot to keep it down but fails and slices his effort over from inside the box.

Chelsea are probing. Hakim Ziyech spins on the edge of the box but his shot is saved.

Then a cross is too high for Romelu Lukaku.

Luuk de Jong is a decent finisher. He is not quick, though. Benjamin Pavard gets back to slide and stop the striker getting in. Ah, he was offside anyway.
