PSG try again as Lionel Messi finds Kylian Mbappe who then plays Nuno Mendes inside the box but Daniel Carvajal is there to block it.

That's only a short respite for the Real defence as PSG pick up the ball and go again.

They are tidy on the ball, the Portuguese side. They have responded well to those quickfire City goals too.

He tries to cut inside but John Stones gets across to cover.

If this is indeed an audition by Kylian Mbappe to his future employers then so far he has been reading his lines confidently but we are yet to see one real standout moment from his performance. It has been there in flashes but Real are doing a solid job of keeping him relatively under control so far.

A huge slip from Rodri, against better opposition he really would have been punished. A little bit casual from City, they know they can cut through this team when they want to but they have to find the right pass at the right times.

Another chance for Sporting as Ricardo Esgaio squeezes in a cross from the left.

Paulinho is waiting in the middle but Ruben Dias hooks it away.

Rodri gives it away in midfield and Sporting are in!

Pedro Goncalves takes too many touches and can't get the shot away. Aymeric Laporte does well to stand his ground and get an important block in.

Twenty minutes in and it has been pretty much been all PSG, it must be exhausting for Real Madrid's players just to keep concentration and not leave any gaps.

The hosts win their fourth corner of the game, which is played short and then Achraf Hakimi's attempted ball back into the box is cut out.

Pedro Porro cuts in off the right and it falls for Pedro Goncalves. He tries to chip it towards the top right corner but he's skewed it.

Sporting definitely carry a threat down the right when they can get hold of the ball but at the moment City are completely blowing them away at the other end.

First real test for Thibaut Courtois as Kylian Mbappe is quick as a flash onto a great ball over the top and is in on goal, he scuffs his shot a bit but Courtois still has to be alert to stick out a leg and clear.
