    Harry Wilson

Fulham take the lead with a piece of quality from Harry Wilson.

Josh Onomah gets into the box on the right and lays it back to the Welshman.

He stands up Marc Bola, cuts into the middle of the pitch onto his left foot and sends a low effort from about 20 yards through another defender's legs and into the Boro net.

Joe Lumley couldn't get down to it, and it's a debut goal for the £12m summer signing from Liverpool.

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Fulham are starting to get into their flow and playing some decent stuff.

There's been a couple of nice combinations between Harry Wilson and Kenny Tete down the right, and some intelligent runs from Fabio Carvalho are stretching the Boro defence.

But the visitors are standing firm so far, and haven't given away too many chances on goal.

  9. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Good save by Joe Lumley!

It's a really good dipping volley from Harry Wilson from the edge of the area, and the Boro keeper palms the ball away from goal.

The Welshman's effort was heading into the top left-hand corner.

  10. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo needs a bit of treatment for a bloody nose.

He needs a new shirt and under-shirt as well.

Nothing as bad as some of the scenes from the British & Irish Lions rugby match yesterday in South Africa, though.

Youngster Fabio Carvalho has been quiet so far, but suddenly bursts into action.

He scored on his first Premier League start for Fulham in May, and gets his first sight at goal here.

Into the box, his effort from a narrow angle is deflected by a defender into the arms of Joe Lumley.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Paddy McNair is the first Boro player into the book.

The Northern Ireland international was stretching for the ball and caught right-back Kenny Tete on the ankle outside the Fulham box.

McNair looks unhappy, but can't have too many complaints.

Two more poor corners from Harry Wilson.

The first is headed away by the first man, and then the second is held by Boro keeper Joe Lumley, who wasn't under any pressure.

  14. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Harry Wilson's delivery is found wanting again, as he fails to beat the first line of defence.

Fulham keep hold of the ball and then Wilson plays Josh Onomah into the box.

But Paddy McNair tracks the runner and deflects the ball behind for a corner.

  15. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Boro are doing well to disrupt Fulham's game.

The red shirts have been buzzing about the hosts in an effort to shut them down quickly.

But then Matt Crooks trips Whites left-back Antonee Robinson 10 yards outside the box on the left flank.

It's a good position to deliver into the box.

  16. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

A big up-and-under clearance from Marc Bola on halfway causes issues in the Fulham defence.

Centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo doesn't deal with it initially, but Duncan Watmore can't bring the bouncing ball under control on the edge of the box.

In the end Adarabioyo sees off the danger.

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Duncan Watmore lofts a ball into the Fulham box, and Matt Crooks rises above his man to get a head on it.

It goes well off target, but the referee had blown up for a foul anyway as Crooks was climbing all over the defender.

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Almost a horrid mix-up at the back for the hosts.

Antonee Robinson plays a firm back-pass to his keeper without totally checking where he is.

Debutant Paulo Gazzaniga has to stretch out a foot to stop it going in for an own-goal.

He concedes a corner - but it could have been much worse.

  19. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Kenny Tete wins the first corner of the game for Fulham with a cross which is headed behind by Grant Hall.

Harry Wilson's inswinger from the right comes to nothing.

  20. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Fulham start the game with a decent spell of possession, and the defenders ping it about nicely.

The Whites didn't always have the cutting edge and end product under Scott Parker last season, so can Marco Silva find a better balance?
