A speedy Barca counter attack ends with Martin Braithwaite drilling in a low cross for Memphis Depay, who slides into Alex Remiro and the referee blows for a foul. Looks like the goalkeeper is ok.

Barca fans loved that. Cheers of "Pique, Pique, Pique" ring around the Nou Camp as their goalscorer waves and blows kisses to the crowd.

With 10 minutes on the clock, Barcelona fans pay tribute to their former number 10, holding up shirts and chanting "Messi, Messi, Messi".

Barcelona win the first corner of the game and Memphis Depay takes it short to Jordi Alba, who whips in a first-time cross. The acrobatics are out as Antoine Griezmann volleys just wide. That would have been a special first goal of the season.

Memphis Depay gives Barca fans of what they can expect from their new number nine. There's great movement from the Dutchman as he spins away from Robin Le Normand after lifting the ball over him, and the Frenchman is forced to concede a foul.

Wow. Barca come flying out of the blocks and there's an early chance for Martin Braithwaite. He bursts into the box and forces a low save from Alex Remiro at the near post.
