The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium really had lift off when Dykes powered in at the end of the half. It's his third in as many games against Forest.

Forest have shown in other games though, particularly in the win at Bristol City, they have some character and guts.

All set for a good next 45.

Call it perseverance. Call it a sucker-punch. Call it what you like, but QPR have the half-time lead after Lyndon Dykes powers in a header right in the final moments of the half.

Even the most ardent Hoops fan couldn't say they deserve to be in front, but the key fact is, they are.

Forest showed some real signs of intent and threat. They won't panic just yet. Brennan Johnson has been the best player on the pitch.

It was a lovely dink to the back-post. Dykes rose unopposed to power home the header.

    Deadlock broken.
