Brighton boss Graham Potter, speaking to Match of the Day: "I really enjoyed the performance, really enjoyed the team, thought they were fantastic - I am a little bit perplexed to the reaction in the crowd at the end because the performance was fantastic against a team that like t dominate possession, like to out-run you, they didn't do that today.

"If we are going to be self-critical, we probably need to score, but that's life and it can happen in football - the effort, the performance, the quality is there, we have to maintain that level and if we do that we'll get wins.

"Leeds give you a really tough opponent, overall disappointed with the one point but you keep moving forward. When you play Leeds you know the spare men are often your centre backs and you have to have courage to play."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton's manager Graham Potter, speaking to Sky Sports: "It’s frustrating not to score but that can happen sometimes in football.

"I thought our performance was fantastic and brave because of the way Leeds defend and they did well with that.

"I'm really happy with the way the team played, we created chances today, if we maintain this performance level then we will be fine and we will score in the coming games.

"Sometimes it just doesn't happen on the day but that’s life.

"Tariq Lamptey has done really well, coming back into fitness and he looked like he enjoyed it. He caused them problems. I think there's lots of positives for us today."

On some fans booing: "The fans are entitled to their opinions but I disagree with them. You have to understand the game, who we played and what we did. We are sitting eighth in the Premier League but maybe I need a history lesson on this club.

"We will continue to play with the same level of courage and bravery going forward. But for today we have to take the point and the clean sheet."

Leeds United

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa, speaking to Match of the Day: "The point is an important point for us, in the first half the differences were big in their favour. And in the second half it was more even, there was alternate dominance and similar chances. After a lull first half, to have evened the game, we value it.

"In the first half we were in conditions to play like we did in the second half, the structure of the team was the same.

"The changes we managed for them to lose confidence when they played out from the back. The duels, we evened them up, we improved the recovery of the ball - it's not that nothing changed!"

Leeds United

Leeds midfielder Adam Forshaw, speaking to Sky Sports: "It wasn't our best game but if you break it down it is a clean sheet away from home and another point on the board, so there are positives.

"Second half, we went long a bit more than we do as a team, maybe a little bit safe at times. You are not going to play well every week, so we will take it.

"We have had long-term injuries so they are not going to come in firing on all cylinders, but lads are close to getting back fit and we have the quality to put a run of games together.

"We train really hard, believe in our ethos and will keep going."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton's Tariq Lamptey, speaking to Sky Sports: "We would have liked to have won the game today but we played a quality side. We pushed and pushed but it wasn't to be.

"We tried our hardest and we gave it our all, on another day they’d go in. We've just got to keep training hard now.

"My team-mates have been great whilst I’ve been out so I worked as hard as I could to create some chances and do my bit for them today.

"We’re playing against quality teams every week, it’s not easy to put the ball in the back of the net, so we just have to keep pushing.

"We go into every game looking to get the three points, the goal didn’t come but we look to the next game now."

Tariq Lamptey is Brighton's number two, he was playing as right-wing back but yet pretty much their most attacking player judging by the average positions today...
