Quite the end to both games, with Rayo Vallecano going close to a late equaliser against Real Madrid and Bordeaux almost pulling off a stunning comeback against Paris St-Germain.

Earlier, of course, Barcelona did fall victim to such a comeback as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Celta Vigo.

It's the visitors' best chance of the match. Karim Benzema loses the ball and Rayo quickly get up the other end but Bebe's low strike rattles the upright.

A decent spell for Rayo but the final pass has been missing in this second half and Real still look comfortable in defence with just over 15 minutes remaining.

After covering the Barcelona game earlier today, I'm not ruling out a late comeback in either of these matches until both Real and PSG have scored at least four.

Is there a way back into this for Bordeaux? The hosts started so well but those two Neymar goals have taken the wind out of their sails.

Neymar goes close to the hat-trick but Benoit Costil is equal to the effort at his near post.

Marco Asensio is closing in on goal and goes for the chip over the onrushing Rayo keeper, who manages to get a hand to it and push the ball clear of danger.

That would have been some goal!

Vinicius Junior has the ball glued to his boot as he beats not one, not two, but three Rayo defenders - however the 21-year-old just can't add the finishing touch.

The ball almost falls into the path of Karim Benzema inside the six-yard box after good work from Marco Asensio, but Rayo do just enough to get the ball clear.
