Well that was a busy old afternoon of football wasn't it!

    Enjoy your Saturday night!

  3. Other upsets...

Asides from victories for Buxton and Kidderminster, three more sides have beaten opponents from higher leagues...

    • League Two Mansfield win 1-0 at Sunderland
    • League Two Port Vale thump third-tier Accrington 5-1
    • League Two Swindon ease to 3-0 win at League One Crewe
  4. FULL-TIME

    Lincoln 1-0 Bowers & Pitsea

A very respectable score-line for Bowers & Pitsea who are separated from their opponents Lincoln by 99 places in the football pyramid.

Almost a late equaliser for the visiting 419 fans to celebrate but a very decent showing for their first ever appearance in the FA Cup first round proper.

    Lincoln celebrate
  5. FULL-TIME

    AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Guiseley

Guiseley, of the National League North, are beaten by League One AFC Wimbledon.

Ollie Palmer's goal just a minute before half-time proves the difference.

  6. FULL-TIME

    Hayes & Yeading 0-1 Sutton

A valiant display from the side that sit 66 places away from League Two Sutton.

It took 72 minutes for Sutton to break the deadlock but that goal sees them through to the second round.

  7. FULL-TIME

    Carlisle 2-0 Horsham

A massive slog of a trip up north for National League South's Horsham fans to stand in the cold and wind but even the 2-0 loss hasn't dampened their spirits - they're still celebrating with the players.

Carlisle needed this win after struggling for form this season, they head into the second round of the cup.

    Carlisle celebrate
  8. FULL-TIME

    York City 0-1 Buxton

    They've done it!

Northern Premier side Buxton have knocked out York City of the National League North!

Diego de Girolamo's goal five minutes from time takes the Derbyshire side into the second round.

  9. FULL-TIME

    Charlton 4-0 Havant & Waterlooville

Four goals in 20 minutes was enough for Charlton to see off Havant & Waterlooville.

Two goals from Jayden Stockley and one each for Josh Davison and youngster Mason Burstow puts them firmly in the hat for the second-round.

  10. FULL-TIME

    Portsmouth 1-0 Harrow Borough

League One Pompey had to work hard for it but they are through.

Marcus Harness' first-half goal was the difference as Harrow Borough bow out of the FA Cup this year.

  11. FULL-TIME

    Kidderminster 1-0 Grimsby

Sixth-tier Kidderminster are into the second-round hat at the expense of Grimsby.

    Kidderminster Harriers
  12. Post update

Buxton and Kidderminster are the only sides going through from tier six or seven as it stands...

Kidderminster are leading National League high-fliers Grimsby 1-0 in stoppage time.

  13. GOAL: Charlton 4-0 Havant & Waterlooville

    Mason Burstow (90 mins)

Havant & Waterlooville held on for as long as they could but four goals in the space of 20 minutes sees the League One side safely into the second round of the FA Cup.

18-year-old Mason Burstow drives through into the box and fires low and hard into the bottom corner. A nice moment for the youngster.

  14. GOAL: Carlisle 2-0 Horsham

    Zach Clough (90 mins)

A late goal from Zach Clough doubles Carlisle's lead over Isthmian League Premier Division's Horsham.

Brad Young's cross from the right is controlled by Clough but his shot takes a wicked deflection to barrel into the back of the net.

League Two's Carlisle have got the job done.

  15. FULL-TIME

    Yate Town 0-5 Yeovil

Yeovil get the job done with the minimum of fuss.

It never really happened at all for Yate today, who fell behind early on and the goals just kept on coming.

They didn't really have a sniff today but they can be proud of their run up to this point of the competition.

  16. GOAL: Charlton 3-0 Havant & Waterlooville

    Jayden Stockley (85 mins)

Well they held on for around 70 minutes but it's all gone to pot for National League South's Havant & Waterlooville.

Elliot Lee's initial effort hits the post and Pape Souare directs the ball back towards goal for Jayden Stockley to get his second goal of the match and certainly seal their spot in the second round of the FA Cup.

  17. Elsewhere...

    Swindon celebrate

League Two Swindon are going through at the expense of League One Crewe. Jack Payne has just put them 3-0 up at The Mornflake Stadium.

League Two Port Vale lead League One Accrington 4-1, and fourth-tier Mansfield are still 1-0 up at League One Sunderland.

Oh, and it's still 7-4 to Halifax in their game against fellow National League side Maidenhead.

  18. GOAL: York City 0-1 Buxton

    Diego de Girolamo (85 mins)

Is that a late winner for Buxton?

The Northern Premier side have taken the lead through Diego de Girolamo with five minutes remaining!

They changed their manager in strange circumstances in midweek but it seems to be working!

  19. Post update

    Portsmouth 1-0 Harrow Borough

Still just the one goal in it at Fratton Park too.

Harrow's players are running out of time to give their 500 travelling supporters something to cheer on the south coast.

  20. GOAL: Hayes & Yeading 0-1 Sutton

    Will Randall (71 mins)

This is unlucky for the home side, who are on an 18 game win-streak.

66 places separate these two sides and finally League Two Sutton have managed to find a breakthrough through Will Randall.

Hayes & Yeading have seen the best of the possession but all the chances have swung Sutton's way - any chance of some late drama?
