It's been quite stop-start. There's been a few feisty moments. Both teams don't want to make a mistake. Watford have probably been the better side going forward. The rhythm hasn't been there. A mistake might be where the winner comes from.

There's that counter-attacking threat that Dean Smith was so worried about.

Moussa Sissoko is running in unmarked but Joshua King absolutely rockets it in. It's hard to get a clean connection on it.

That Moussa Sissoko 'shot' actually went out for a throw-in.

Watford threaten again.

This time Joshua King does get the ball down the right and puts in a low delivery towards the penalty spot which Moussa Sissoko dangles out a leg but cannot divert on target.

On the stroke of half-time, Watford have a great opportunity to break the deadlock as Joao Pedro manages to dance through but then pokes a weak, low effort straight at Angus Gunn.

Team-mate Joshua King is absolutely fuming at not receiving a pass there.

I'm liking the look for new Watford man Hassane Kamara, full of confidence and has been getting forward down that left.

Swings the ball in with purpose too but the Norwich backline are holding firm so far.

Emmanuel Dennis is causing Max Aarons problems. He goes with him inside and it leaves space which Moussa Sissoko runs into.

They sorted it out eventually but there's a few tactical things Norwich need to sort.

Norwich haven't seen the Watford half for a while and Milot Rachica tries to change that, but the Kosovo international is dispossessed by Kiko Femenia's challenge.

Watford's approach play is confident, they are just lacking that bit of quality in the final third.

Emmanuel Dennis cuts inside and goes down in the box with Grant Hanley in close attendance, but referee says no.

Should have been booked for a dive, tbh.

I think Pierre Lees-Melou has gone in more aggressive actually and has gone in worse. I think he is lucky! He has come away with it worse off but he came in high. I feel for Emmanuel Dennis.

Furious Norwich players surround referee Mike Dean, screaming for a red card after Emmanuel Dennis goes in late on Pierre Lees-Melou, but the Watford forward gets only a yellow.

Probably the right call, clumsy rather than malicious.

Norwich keeper Angus Gunn is being called into action more and more now.

Hassane Kamara bombs down the left again but a low cross is smothered by Gunn.

Possession for the last 10 minutes will be very much in Watford's favour.

The home side have the chance to launch a free-kick into the box but it is desperately poor from Tom Cleverley, straight through to Angus Gunn.
