    HT: Leicester 0-0 Brighton

A really competitive game in Leicester. Both sides playing some nice stuff but there's very little to separate them.

Leicester have probably had the better chances though.

    HT: Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

Arsenal had more than 75% possession and 12 shots in that first half, but just two of those were on target.

Mikel Arteta's side are playing some nice football but it's fairly comfortable for Burnley to defend against once the hosts reach their box.

  3. 'Palace lucky to still be in it'published at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    HT: Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Liverpool were dominant in the first 20 minutes and pretty much through that first half. I think Palace are lucky to still be in the game - and they've had opportunities even off the back of Liverpool's good play.

I think there'll be a few Palace players trying to suck in a bit of air and get their composure at the break.

  4. Clean sheet number four?published at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool have kept three clean sheets in a row in all competitions.

The last time they shut teams out for four games straight was in 2019-20, when they won the Premier League title.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

    That's the break.

Arsenal unable to break down a well-drilled Burnley defence in the first half.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

A decent goalless half from both sides. Still all to play for at the King Power.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool completely on top but they did drop their level in the last 10 minutes of that half with a few sloppy passes.

Palace will hope to cause more problems after the break but it's an uphill battle from here.

  8. CLOSE!published at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

    Better from the hosts!

Arsenal are able to draw Burnley out and almost take advantage of a three on three situation, working it right to Bukayo Saka.

He cuts inside on to this left and whips an effort towards the far corner, but it's just wide.

  9. Postpublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

Steven Alzate leaves James Maddison on the turf as he weaves past a few challenges in the middle. It comes to nothing for Brighton but Maddison is just down receiving some treatment.

  10. Postpublished at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

Arsenal are patiently working it across the top of the box but Burnley aren't leaving any spaces at the moment. All a bit blunt from the Gunners, despite their dominance on the ball.

  11. Postpublished at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

Still plenty to go at in Leicester. The hosts are pushing for an opener but Ademola Lookman's latest pass rolls through to Robert Sanchez.

  12. CLOSE!published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool give it away in the middle again!

Roberto Firmino's pass is straight to Michael Olise again, he immediately plays in Jean-Philippe Mateta, who rounds the keeper, drills it towards goal, Virgil van Dijk gets a touch on it on the goalline and it rolls agonisingly wide after Joel Matip also flings a toe at it at the back post.

  13. Postpublished at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

Palace have changed shape. Jeffrey Schlupp is playing higher up. Jean-Philippe Mateta has come more inside.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

Oops! It's a terrible pass across the Liverpool box by Joel Matip which won't reach Virgil van Dijk. Michael Olise jumps in and intercepts, teases Van Dijk and gets a shot off but Alisson pulls off another smart save with his outstretched leg.

  15. Postpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

Brilliant from Bukayo Saka. It's like watching that kid at school who's far better than all his mates. He drifts down the right, finds Alexandre Lacazette and the forward helps the ball on to Kieran Tierney, who side-foots harmlessly over the crossbar.

  16. Postpublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

Pascal Gross spins away down the right, carries it along the byline and drills in a cross which is deflected heavily into the side-netting and out for a corner.

  17. Postpublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

Burnley's best chance of breaking down Arsenal is probably from set-pieces. They win a free-kick in a decent position and it's never really cleared before Dwight McNeil tries his luck from distance, dragging his effort well wide. He's been the visitors' brightest spark.

  18. Postpublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

The first chance Palace have created!

Jean-Philippe Mateta cuts it back from the right and picks out Conor Gallagher but it's behind him and he's falling over as he rolls it into the waiting arms of Alisson.

  19. Reds sharp and destructivepublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

It's early days but Crystal Palace are in dire need of some kind of solution.

The Liverpool press is on point today and causing them all kinds of problems. The Reds have won possession in the final third seven times in a shade over 30 minutes.

When Jurgen Klopp's side do have the ball it's been sharp - 280 passes to 121 from Palace.

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

It is an absolutely deserved two-goal lead.

The problem for Palace is Liverpool's full-backs play so high it is pinning back Oise and Edouard, and Mateta has no support at all.
