Breathing space at the top of League Two for Forest Green, as Jamille Matt buries the ball from another Kane Wilson cross for a priceless second.

    Rotherham 1-1 Bolton

There have only been two cards dished out on the field in this one so far, with Bolton boss Ian Evatt the only other competitor to receive a booking this afternoon.

Those yellow cards have been handed out to wingers, for classic wingers challenges. Bolton's Oladapo Afolayan was cautioned in the first-half for a cynical challenge of Chiedozie Ogbene.

Ogbene has had his name in the book too for a tug on George Johnston.

In terms of chances, Trotters winger Elias Kachunga smashed wide after a slaloming run.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 1 January 2022

    Forest Green 0-0 Stevenage

Forest Green's free-scoring attack is possibly missing the Covid-absentee presence of Matty Stevens, with Jamille Matt and Jack Aitchison unable to prise anything out of Stevenage thus far.

The visitors have been game themselves in this one, although Elliott List has had to come off for Arthur Read.

    Blackpool 1-0 Hull

Action in the early stages of the second half and it's Blackpool who've come close to padding out their advantage against Hull.

Josh Bowler volleys goalbound and Nathan Baxter parries it into the path of Keshi Anderson, but fortunately for the Hull keeper, Anderson's follow-up is flagged offside before he puts it over the bar.

No changes from either side at the break as the two managers decide when or whether to roll the dice in this contest.

Rotherham finished the first 45 minutes with six attempts but only one was on target. That statistic needs to change.

Bolton only had three shots on target themselves but caused plenty of issues.
