Portugal 1-2 Serbia
The joy and the despair. There's nothing like a last-minute winner to provide the full spectrum of emotions
Not sure that our match report will be enjoyable reading for Cristiano Ronaldo and company.
While it was joy for Spain, it was heartbreak for neighbours Portugal as they missed a glorious chance to secure World Cup qualification.
They only needed a point at home to Serbia, but an injury-time winner from Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic sealed a 2-1 win and took Serbia to the World Cup and dumped the 2016 European champions into the play-offs.
"Miserable," sums up the thoughts on the front page of Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
"To the World Cup," is the headline on Spanish newspaper Sport after former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata scored a late winner against Sweden to take the 2010 World Cup winners Spain to Qatar 2022.

San Marino v England (19:45 GMT)
Just picking up on the Daily Express back page....
Harry Kane, who scored a hat-trick against Albania on Friday, is level with Jimmy Greaves on 44 England goals and has scored 39 competitive goals for his country, breaking Wayne Rooney's record of 37.
You'd have thought this evening will be another opportunity to fill his boots.
Rooney's overall England goals record stands at 53. Big opportunity for Kane to edge closer to that and Gary Lineker (48) and Bobby Charlton (49).

Before we get into all the rest of the international stuff did anyone watch Strictly at the weekend?
Shame they couldn't have got former England boss Sam Allardyce and Jay-Jay Okocha on, with the pair recreating their on-pitch dance from 2003 during a charity match on Sunday.

I'm sure you'll be just fine this evening Gareth...
After all England have won their seven matches against San Marino by an aggregate score of 42-1, beating them 5-0 in March at Wembley in the reverse World Cup 2022 qualifier.
In San Marino, England have won 14-0 across two visits, winning 8-0 in March 2013 and 6-0 in September 2015.
The Three Lions other match against the Sammarinese not on English soil was played in Bologna in November 1993, with San Marino taking the lead through Davide Gualtieri after eight seconds before losing 7-1.
San Marino v England (19:45 GMT)
England will take San Marino, the world's worst national team in Fifa's rankings, "very seriously" as the Three Lions have yet to qualify for the World Cup, says boss Gareth Southgate.
England need one point from their final group game to ensure qualification.
San Marino are 210th - bottom - in the world rankings and have lost all nine group games in qualifying, conceding 36 times and scoring just once.
"We want a strong performance," said Southgate.
"We want to make sure the team we start with is a statement that we are here to do business. We have not qualified yet."
England are currently top of their group with 23 points. Poland, in second place with 20 points, will play Hungary on Monday, with Albania and Andorra being the remaining group fixture.
Who fancies a smattering of World Cup qualifying reaction and build-up?
England travel to San Marino, Scotland host Denmark and Northern Ireland play European Champions Italy later on Monday.
Plus we will be turning our attention to domestic matters with Norwich seemingly closing in on the appointment of Dean Smith as their new manager.
