Better composure from Rangers, who get their foot on the ball after a spell of Sparta pressure.

Lack of attacking action since that Aribo chance, however.

Sparta Prague have struggled to get into this game and that is a credit to Rangers, who have come out so quickly and have managed to maintain that.

Excellent defensive header from Borna Barisic.

The left-back gets in ahead of Wiesner to cut out a dangerous cross.

Big high-fives from his team-mates after that one.

Joe Aribo works a nice reverse pass to captain James Tavernier.

    He's got to score!

James Tavernier clips a ball down the right for Ianis Hagi. The Romanian's ball in finds Joe Aribo, but the midfielder's close-range finish drops over.

He absolutely has to bury that.

Calvin Bassey, deployed at centre-back tonight, hasn't put a foot wrong so far.

The Rangers defender closes down Adam Hlozek brilliantly on the edge of the box before getting across well to stop a cross minutes later.

GOAL! Rangers 1-0 Sparta Praguepublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2021

    Alfredo Morelos

The first goal of the Van Bronckhorst era!

It looks like there's too much on James Tavernier's pass to Ianis Hagi, but the forward slides in brilliantly to get a toe on the ball and divert it to Alfredo Morelos.

The Colombia striker has the whole goal to aim at and finishes well into the bottom-left corner.

    Rangers 0-0 Sparta Prague

Rangers' wingers are much wider in Van Bronckhorst's system.

We've become used to the likes of Kent and Hagi playing really narrow, but they've got chalk on their boots tonight.

    Great effort.

Ryan Kent does brilliantly, rinsing a couple before pulling the ball back at the byeline.

Joe Aribo picks it up on the edge of the box and drills a shot goalwards, but the strike clips the top of the bar.

    Rangers 0-0 Sparta Prague

Different shape from Rangers early on at Ibrox.

Looks more like a 4-2-3-1. These Rangers players have played 4-3-3 continuously for the past few years..

Joe Aribo is playing as the number 10 behind Alfredo Morelos, with Ryan Kent and Ianis Hagi on the wings.

Steven Davis and Glen Kamara are the deepest midfielders.
