Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst told BT Sport: "I expect a tough game against a quality side. They're first in the group so that shows their quality and their depth in quality.
"We will take it as a game to improve ourselves to get a good result again.
"The target is still the same, it is to win this game, I think we are in a comfortable position where we can rotate the squad, give players a chance to make minutes but still with the objective to get a good result."
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
A trip to Lyon brings back great memories for Rangers after their famous 3-0 win in 2007.
Just a few weeks after James McFadden's wonder-goal stunned France in Paris, Rangers did a Champions League job on a side that included Brazilian set-piece master Juninho, Italy full-back Fabio Grosso and a young Karim Benzema.
Lee McCulloch, Daniel Cousin and DaMarcus Beasley struck for Walter Smith's side, with right-back Alan Hutton having a stormer.
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been talking to BT Sport and he says midfielder Ryan Jack has suffered a "setback" in his recovery from long-term injury after a training ground knock.
More from the Ibrox boss before kick off...
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Second place used to guarantee passage into the round of 32 in the Europa League, but no more.
A play-off has been introduced against teams finishing third in the Champions League.
And the list of possible opponents for Rangers is quite daunting.

Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Rangers fans have been messed around something terrible for this fixture.
On Monday, the Ibrox club announced that the French minister of the interior had imposed a ban on travelling supporters after an allocation of 2,200 tickets had been agreed.
Disappointed fans will have then cancelled bookings, but less than 24 hours later there was a U-turn, with the French authorities saying away fans were suddenly welcome again.
And, of course, anyone travelling from the UK to France and back again would need to arrange Covid testing on both sides of the journey.
Chapeau to anyone who has made it from Scotland to the former capital city of the Gauls.
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Moussa Dembele is making his way back from injury for the hosts and he has banged in a few goals against Rangers in the past.
During his time at Celtic the striker scored seven times in Old Firm derbies.
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst is well known to home manager Peter Bosz, having been opponents during their time in Dutch football.
"We played a lot against each other when he was at Heracles, Vitesse and even at Ajax," said Van Bronckhorst yesterday.
"I've really appreciated our friendship over the years and for me he has been there almost my entire career."
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Lyon have a 100% record of their own to protect, having won all five of their previous group games.
It all started with a 2-0 win at Ibrox back in mid-September.
Karl Toko Ekamb opened the scoring that night and James Tavernier knocked in an unfortunate own goal.
Domestic performances have been patchy though, with the club languishing 12th in Ligue 1 after 16 games, although they are just seven points off third place in a congested table.
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)
Giovanni van Bronckhorst began his Rangers reign with a 2-0 win over Sparta Prague at Ibrox to clinch second place in Group A.
The Dutchman has since won three Premiership matches, so can he maintain his 100% start?
He makes six changes from Saturday's 3-0 victory over Dundee.
Goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin gets a start as does full-back Nathan Patterson, midfielder John Lundstram and forwards Scott Wright, Ryan Kent and Kemar Roofe.
Lyon v Rangers (17:45)

Rangers: McLaughlin, Patterson, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic, Lundstram, Kamara, Hagi, Wright, Kent, Roofe.
Substitutes: McGregor, McCrorie, Tavernier, Davis, Aribo, Bacuna, Kelly, Arfield.
So both games are dead rubbers but there's welcome prize money to play for and a chance for managers to have a look at some fringe players.
And there's always the coefficient.
Scotland are currently ninth on Uefa's list but things have not gone well this season, with 19 other nations faring better at the moment.
Rangers and Celtic complete their Europa League group journeys this evening, but it's all a bit low key, with nothing riding on either game.
Rangers, away to Lyon, are already guaranteed second place and a place in the new play-off round.
Celtic will finish third no matter what happens later on at home to Real Betis and they drop into the Conference League.
Remember, both Glasgow sides started this season in the Champions League, so Celtic will complete the set.
