In modern day football manager speak West Brom are in "a bad moment".

The Baggies had been expected to challenge for automatic promotion this season but recent results have been anything but promotion-winning form.

USA international striker Daryl Dike was signed to get the goals to get them back in contention but he suffered a hamstring injury in his first start.

They have turned to former England striker Andy Carroll on a deal until the end of the season and he comes straight into the XI for his debut today.

Opponents Millwall have lost their past three so the expectation will all be on the away side.

Blackpool, down in 14th, have scored 28 goals in the Championship this season.

Today's opponents Fulham, have scored 22 in their past FOUR games.

If there was ever a statistic to highlight just how dominant the Cottagers are at present, then that is it.

Their 73 goals in 27 games sticks out like a sore thumb, powered by the free-scoring Serb hitman Aleksandar Mitrovic who has just one fewer on his tod than the whole Tangerines team.

It's the sort of tally racked up by a kid playing Fifa on novice mode, in essence.

Boss Marco Silva has been public in his desire to retain another increasingly important cog in the wheel - Fabio Carvalho. The 19-year-old has four goals in his past three games and is already attracting higher level attention.

All the evidence suggests the Seasiders will need all their heart and experience to keep the rampant hosts at bay.
