• Leaders Fulham stay five points clear at the top, after they were held to a 1-1 draw with Blackpool in a game which was delayed for more than 30 minutes by a medical emergency in the stands, in which a fan was admitted to hospital.
• An under-strength Blackburn Rovers missed the chance to reduce the gap on the Cottagers, as they were also held to a draw by Luton Town.
• Millwall added to Valerien Ismael's pressures with a 2-0 win over a West Brom side really struggling for form.
• Bournemouth survived the dismissal of defender Gary Cahill to overcome struggling Barnsley, thanks to a goal from Philip Billing.
• QPR kept up their pursuit of promotion with a 4-0 thumping of Reading, with Lyndon Dykes scoring twice.
• Hull's new era under Shota Arveladze began with victory over Swansea, thanks to goals from Tom Eaves and Keane Lewis-Potter.
• Elsewhere, Middlesbrough edged Coventry, and Emil Riis Jacobsen scored a last-minute equaliser to earn Preston a point against Bristol City.

Rhian Brewster looked lively for the visitors before being forced off with a muscle injury.

John Egan should have done better with a header for the Blades and away goalkeeper Wes Foderingham made a super stop to deny Jonson Clarke-Harris moments later.

Sheffield United midfielder Conor Hourihane has got a really cultured left foot.

Maybe not so much.

The Irishman shows neat skill to set up a volley on his less favoured right foot and... it's still 0-0.

Straight down the other end and Jonson Clarke-Harris is played in on goal but Wes Foderingham is off his line like a flash to smother his effort.

Another chance comes and goes for the away side.

Ollie Norwood clips a cross to John Egan at the back stick after a short corner routine and the Irishman powers his header over the bar when he was totally unmarked.

Jayden Bogle is in the mood for it tonight.

The Blades right wing-back shows lovely feet to get away from two would-be tacklers on the edge of the area before lashing a low cross/shot across the face of goal.

Better from Peterborough in these past few minutes.

They're just starting to get a bit of a foothold in this now.

They've got Johnson Clarke-Harris and Adam Marriott up top and they're starting to have an impact.

Peterborough debutant Jeando Fuchs takes aim from long range.

It's a nice clean connection but straight at Wes Foderingham in the Blades goal.

That's one shot on target apiece.

Sheffield United banging on the door now.

Jayden Bogle bursts in down the Blades right (seems to be a very clear tactic...) and smashes an effort at goal that Posh goalkeeper Steven Benda stands up well to.

Moments later Conor Hourihane's long range shot takes a nick and goes wide.

What an entrance that would have been!

David McGoldrick, on for Rhian Brewster, gets himself in down the same channel that Brewster was working so well and chops inside before firing miles wide.
