For a moment Stina Blackstenius looks to be in with a good chance of getting a decent shot off as she breaks into the area but she is shepherded wide by the Wolfsburg defence and the opportunity is gone.

Manuela Zinsberger takes no chances with a cross that looks like it could creep under the bar and the Arsenal goalkeeper tips over.

Stina Blackstenius heads away the corner but Wolfsburg keep up the pressure and Zinsberger saves well from Svenja Huth's low drive as the ball comes back into the box.

Almuth Schult is brought into action for the first time as Steph Catley lets fly with an awkward shot from the edge of the area. Schult dives and has to gather at the second attempt.

Wolfsburg win yet another corner but Arsenal are getting stronger at defending set pieces and Manuela Zinsberger punches away well.

Half an hour in and no shots on or off target yet for Arsenal, who have had just 37% possession.

A shot deflects off Leah Williamson and Wolfsburg have another corner. This time, Vivianne Miedema is able to head away the delivery powerfully. Better.

And an uncharacteristically poor touch by Vivianne Miedema as she looks to turn towards goal midway inside the Wolfsburg area. Arsenal are at least seeing a bit more of the ball.

Frustrating again for Arsenal as Stina Blackstenius' control lets her down as she lets a pass from a free kick get away from her. It is difficult for Arsenal, though, because Wolfsburg are just pressing constantly to force the mistakes.

Arsenal just need a few minutes of holding onto the ball because at the moment it just keeps coming back at them.

Finally, the original decision to disallow the goal stands and that is huge relief for Arsenal. To come back from 3-1 down on aggregate would have been a big ask.

This is a long check by VAR and a very nervous moment for Arsenal.

It was a very close call.
