It's a soft penalty. To give such a cheap penalty away so early in a cup tie has to be disappointing for Watford.

It's an end-to-end start in this one. Port Vale threaten at one end but Jonas Lossl does just enough under pressure, before Brentford charge up the other end and Vale are able to recover in numbers. Great cup football.

Burnley assistant manager Ian Woan: "It's bitterly disappointing. The game is petering out, it's a sloppy mistake and indicative of the season so far when we get punished and it's 1-1.

"I think the team we put out was as strong as we could go. We worked hard on set plays this week and knew what they had, but we were down a marker [for the winning goal] and the cross was on the money. It was one we should have dealt with.

Kieran Trippier is a fantastic signing and Newcastle fans are excited today.

Their backline has been poor, they have conceded really poor goals.

He has gone away to Atletico Madrid and come back to England a better defender. He has an assist in him and a goal from a set piece.

Ademola Lookman is brought down on the edge of the Watford box by Tom Cleverley. It's a decent free-kick position for James Maddison, but he whips it straight into the wall.

Mansfield boss Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We should have made it through to the fourth round today. I'm very disappointed with the first 30 minutes, I didn't think we started the game and ultimately that's what's cost us going 2-0 down - but from that point on it was brilliant stuff.

"The message was get one goal back, don't concede again and stay in the game. If they had got a third at any time and gone 3-0 it would have been game over.

"But staying in the game at 2-0, you get one back and you hear the crowd's reaction, and then we scored a brilliant equaliser, but that's all to no avail again when you concede a poor goal in the 95th minute.

"We had more than enough chances to score more than the two goals. We've been playing well for a few weeks and there's a lot of encouragement. We gave Middlesbrough a good game and it was a cracking cup tie."
