That would have been Taras Kacharaba's first Ukraine goal. This is only his second cap.

A big let-off for Ireland. There is a VAR check and Artem Dovbyk was deemed offside as he ran onto a ball down the left. There was a slight argument that the goalscorer pushed Jason Knight too.

So it's back to 0-0.

Artem Dovbyk gets down the byeline and whips in a cross. Taras Kacharaba lets it bounce 20 yards out and then hits a stunning looping shot over the keeper into the top corner.

Ireland have never taken the lead in the Nations League - and never scored at home in it.

Quite a while has passed now so VAR obviously didn't seem it a penalty.

Quite a few times now a Ukraine player has got the ball in midfield and been able to run forward and shoot. This time it's Artem Dovbyk, who drags his effort wide.

Great play by Irish forward Chiedozie Ogbene to spin his man on the wing and run towards the box before seeing a shot blocked.

Good defending by Nathan Collins to read the danger of a through ball, clear it and get fouled in the process.

The Republic of Ireland have only lost two of their last 17 home matches in all competitions (W6 D9) and are unbeaten in their last six (W2 D4).
