Almost an immediate impact for Brennan Johnson, whose shot has Koen Casteels scrambling in the Belgium goal. Johnson hit the post against Ukraine moments after coming on and the Forest winger has the potential to be a super-sub for Wales at the World Cup - if he doesn't nail a starting spot.

Wales boss Rob Page makes his last changes, three at once and one of them is the departure of Gareth Bale, along with Harry Wilson and Ben Davies. On come Brennan Johnson, Ruben Colwill and Wes Burns.

Kevin de Bruyne and Leandro Trossard also depart for Belgium, with Eden Hazard and Dennis Praet on.

He's got to hit that first time, sweep it in right footed.

Neco Williams shows great control to bring down a long pass on the right and crosses for Dan James - it's a chance but James can't get his body shape right to get the ball on target.

Rhys Norrington-Davies puts a heavy challenge into Leander Dendoncker, scraping his studs down the Wolves defender's leg as he stretches after a miss-control.

That's his second booking of the campaign and rules him out of Tuesday's trip to face the Netherlands in Rotterdam.

Gareth Bale lifts a great ball over the top for Dan James, but the Belgium defence swarms back in good order and James can't find an outlet.

For Belgium, Yannick Carrasco is replaced by Thorgan Hazard.

Wrong man in the right position.

I knew Joe Rodon was going to try a bender, but before it even got to him he was on his way, leaning back.

Arthur Theate goes into the book for nudging the ball out of Dan James' path with his hand.

Wales work a good corner routine but no-one can find enough space until the ball falls to Joe Rodon at the edge of the area. He's never scored for club or country and is no closer this time as his attempted curler into the top corner goes wide - right idea though.

Booking for Joe Rodon as the Spurs defender slides through the back of Michy Batshuayi. That's one apiece, after Yannick Carrasco was shown yellow late in the first half.

It could, and should be 2-0 to Belgium but Leandro Trossard's radar is still wonky and he makes a mess of another chance, poking past the post.

Gareth Bale tries to conjure an immediate response but he can't keep his long-range shot from ballooning high into the stands.

Smart keeping again from Wayne Hennessey as Kevin de Bruyne curls in another teasing left-foot cross. Axel Witsel's eyes light up but Hennessey gets there first to punch the ball off his head.

Belgium were starting to get more joy towards the end of the first half following Joe Allen's substitution. Wales boss Rob Page would have enjoyed the chance to settle his side down and go through the game plan for the second half. News from the changing room is Allen's hamstring problem is "just a tweak".

We're back under way, no changes at the break by either manager.

This game has a remarkably similar feel to Wales' two previous Nations League games this month.

Against Poland and the Netherlands, both sides wasted golden chances early on in goalless first halves.

On both those occasions, Wales eventually fell to a 2-1 loss. Rob Page will be hoping for a different outcome after the next 45 minutes.

You can't rule out Tyler Roberts, or Rabbi Matondo.

I'm hoping David Brooks gets back into action next season. It's great to see him getting back to health [after cancer]. If he can get fit, I'd take him.
