Six changes for England following a draw in Munich last time out, with Gareth Southgate forced to shuffle his starting XI because of the tight schedule but also keen to see who can impress.
The visitiors should be well aware of what Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham are capable of - Tomori was a key part of the AC Milan defence as they won Serie A and Roma forward Tammy Abraham was in great form for Jose Mourinho's Roma.
Aaron Ramsdale replaces Jordan Pickford in goal, Reece James starts at right-back in place of Kyle Walker and James Ward-Prowse comes into midfield instead of Kalvin Phillips.
Meanwhile, Jack Grealish starts from the off following his late cameo against Germany.
It's almost all change for Roberto Mancini's Italy, who make nine changes following their victory over Hungary last time out - goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lorenzo Pellegrini are the only players to keep their place.
While Gareth Southgate may be using this Nations League campaign as an extended audition for the World Cup later this year, Italy boss Roberto Mancini is having to think longer term.
The European Champions will not be boarding the plane to Qatar after suffering a shock defeat in the qualifying play-off semi-final to North Macedonia - missing out on a second successive World Cup.
Mancini stayed put in his role, but has bemoaned the lack of Italian players to choose from in Serie A recently as he goes about building a squad for the future.
The Azzurri's Nations League schedule has got off to a decent start, though, drawing with Germany and beating Hungary so far this international break, after a 3-0 defeat by Argentina in the Finalissima at Wembley.

It was a case of 'so near yet so far' for England last summer.
A glorious run to the final of the Euros ended in defeat as Italy took home the trophy after staying cool in the penalty shootout.
But it hasn't gone too well for Roberto Mancini's side since, failing to qualify for a second successive World Cup.

Driving into Wolverhampton you could spot billboards for the Express & Star - the regional newspaper for the area - announcing the Three Lions' visit to the city.
Indeed, it's only the fifth time the England men's senior side have played at Molineux, and the first time since 1956 - the hosts beat Denmark 5-2 on that occassion, thanks to a Tommy Taylor hat-trick and two for Duncan Edwards.
Wolves legend Billy Wright, who won 105 caps for England was playing in that game and I walked past the huge statue of him not far from the press entrance on my way in.
This one being behind closed doors means the locals are not able to make the most of it, although around 3,000 mainly school children will be in attendance at Wolves' home ground. You can bet they will be making plenty of noise, too...
Tammy Abraham gets a start up front for England after his fine season with Roma.
The £100m Jack Grealish is in too.
