    Hull 1-0 Blackburn

The first half draws to a close and Hull are on top and are pulling away from the Championship's bottom three as it stands.

But Blackburn will feel hard done by after being denied what was a pretty clear penalty after Ben Brereton-Diaz was barged down by Di'Shon Bernard.

    Hull 1-0 Blackburn

Blackburn have turned this game on its head in the latter stages of the first half compared to Hull's blistering start.

But as yet they work many chances on goal as time ticks down towards half-time. Two minutes remain.

In case you missed it earlier, Hull have been been taken over by a Turkish media group owned by Acun Ilicali - and he certainly enjoyed George Honeyman's early goal at the MKM Stadium.

    Hull 1-0 Blackburn

Reda Khadra does well to turn and beat Hull goalscorer George Honeyman on the left-hand side of the field.

He works the ball towards the edge of the box and, at a tight angle, shoots goalbound but it's high and wide.

Sarcastic cheers ring around the ground.

    Reading 0-0 Luton

It's still goalless in this one and Reading really could do with a goal early on against Luton.

The Royals have conceded 11 goals in their past three games, including seven last week against Fulham.

20 minutes in and they're keeping the Hatters at bay.

    Hull 1-0 Blackburn

We're just past the half-hour mark at the MKM Stadium and there's a bit of a muted atmosphere now.

Blackburn look in better shape than they did 10 minutes ago and have taken the sting out of Hull after their fine start.

    Hull 1-0 Blackburn

Blackburn win two corners as they begin to grow into this game against Hull, now.

Firstly, it's played short as Reda Khadra eventually crosses towards Darragh Lenihan but it's cleared and a second corner sees Scott Wharton head over the bar.

Then soon after, Khadra catches Hull keeper Nathan Baxter out, as he races out of his area, but his 20-yard drive is well cleared by Di'Shon Bernard.

Penny for the thoughts of Tony Mowbray. The Blackburn boss looks absolutely livid after their appeals for a penalty were turned down.

The game has certainly shifted in the past few minutes, with Blackburn looking a bit more comfortable than Hull right now.

Blimey, Blackburn should have a penalty here.

Ben Brereton-Diaz turns and races into the box from a Blackburn long ball and Di'Shon Bernard shoulder barges him over.

Hull are very lucky there and Brereton-Diaz is furious with the referee. Rightly so.

    Hull 1-0 Blackburn

This is an encouraging performance from Hull in front of their fans, as they combine well in midfield to knock the ball about with ease.

There's been a succession of misplaced passes from Blackburn, who are struggling to string a bit of possession together at the minute.

Blackburn are on the back foot here and it's all Hull as it stands.

Ooh, er! What a start! Hull take the lead.

It comes as Tom Eaves does well to keep the ball in play, he pulls it back before George Honeyman races into the box.

The ball is played to him and he pokes a low, rolled shot past Blackburn keeper Thomas Kaminski and it rolls over the line before Tayo Edun can clear it off the line.
