    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

Bobby Decordova-Reid does well to keep the ball in play down the left but his swinging cross for Fulham is far too deep.

Neco Williams picks it up right side, the ball is worked infields but the slide rule ball to Fabio Carvalho rolls harmlessly wide - wasn't really expecting it.

  2. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

Fabio Carvalho injects some pace and sets off on a run before threading through to Aleksandar Mitrovic, but Ollie Turton darts in to clear for Huddersfield.

From the corner, Lee Nicholls flaps a bit but the snapshot flies wide as Fulham fans leap to their feet.

  3. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 14 mins

Huddersfield show some of their craft and guile to put the ball in the net but it's chalked off for offside against Sorba Thomas.

Just needed to hold the run. Signs of their threat though.

  4. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

More good work out wide from Neco Williams for Fulham, bides his time, drops a shoulder and thunders in a cross but Bobby Decordova Reid glances wide.

Town defending well, Fulham look menacing.

  5. Postpublished at 11mins

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

Fulham apply the squeeze to Huddersfield with plenty of possession around the box but can't make the pass they need.

  7. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

Fulham come to life down the left and Antonee Robinson curls in a great cross which is headed behind with Aleksandar Mitrovic lurking.

  8. Postpublished at 3 mins

Smart work down the left for Fulham and a cross into the middle but it's mopped up with Harry Wilson a little flat-footed.

  9. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

Really bright start from Huddersfield who take the game to the hosts with Jon Russell striding forward.

Out of possession they're trying to make life difficult for their top of the league opponents with really tight defensive cover.

Fresh from his league debut in a stubbornly-fought draw with Sheffield United last weekend, Jon Russell's first team career at Huddersfield steps up another gear this weekend with the visit to Fulham.

Born in Hounslow, he'll be back in familiar territory in West London, and as a former Chelsea player, there's ample incentive to get a result.

"It's gonna be tough, but the way we prepare, the confidence we have in ourselves, we've definitely got a chance to win," Russell told BBC Radio Leeds.

"We take the pressure off ourselves, no-one really expects us to win, we can go out full blast and do our best.

"Underdogs, we've just got to express ourselves and trust in Carlos and how we play."

Aleksandar Mitrovic has 31 goals in 28 games, a frighteningly good strike rate.

The Fulham striker is closing in on Guy Whittingham's post-Premier League era tally of 42.

Outstanding record, having levelled the Championship record set by Ivan Toney last year.

Just seen a few Fulham fans wrapped up in those foil blankets marathon runners get at the end of a race.

Might be a chilly one at the Cottage.

    Fulham v Huddersfield (12:30 GMT)

We've got plenty to get through between now and about 17:00 GMT across the EFL and plenty of time to bring it to you, but it all starts this afternoon down by the Thames.

Championship leaders Fulham have set the pace at a relentless rate this season, blowing teams away with a free-scoring attack.

Marco Silva has channelled Aleksandar Mitrovic's competitive edge and put quality such as Harry Wilson and Neeskens Kebano around him.

Huddersfield Town have nudged their way into the promotion pack like tenacious Terriers, which rather befits their moniker.

Carlos Corberan's side have gone from strugglers to contenders, playing some neat football with it.

The two promotion hopefuls will go at it this lunchtime.

After some of the worst weather to hit the UK in decades, there might be a few distractions to the usual Saturday afternoon traditions.

Power cuts, fallen trees, torn off roofs have affected homes, offices and schools, while football hasn't escaped unscathed.

Bournemouth reported damage to their ground, prompting postponement of last night's game with Nottingham Forest, while Exeter v Barrow and Salford v Crawley are also off in League Two.

Fingers crossed we get a decent programme today, and that whatever has happened over past 24 hours, you're safe.
