The Palace ground staff are required to come on and take off a flare that the Hartlepool fans have thrown on. Their solution is to shove it in a bucket with a lid, meaning they walk off with the thing leaving a big smoke trail behind them. Rubbish job, but someone has to do it.

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hartlepool

Almost a dream for young full-back Omotayo Adaramola, who has just come on for Palace. He is just denied a follow-up finish to Michael Olise's saved shot by a last-gasp Hartlepool challenge.

Superb save by John Ruddy as he stretches out a hand to keep out Kieran Dowell's effort. That keeps Wolves just about in this but some home fans aren't confident because they are heading to the exits.

    Ashley Williams
Former Wales captain on Final Score

It's been night and day with what they produced recently under Benitez. The big thing is possession, they have kept the ball really well and reacted quickly when losing it. High energy all over, and I think Lampard has made a difference already.

    Alex Howell
    BBC Sport at Selhurst Park

They haven't had a lot to cheer during the match but the near 5000 supporters have really got behind their team in the last ten minutes. On the pitch, they've had a couple of strikes which have forced Jack Butland to make saves.

This one is still not settled. Barnsley have given a much better showing second half than first. Do they have anything left in the tank to stop Town reaching round five?
