Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has just held a pitchside news conference after his side were embarrassed 4-1 by Championship Nottingham Forest - and the Foxes boss was furious with his players.

He said: "It was an awful performance and first of all I have to apologise to the fans, we needed physicality and authority and lacked it. There was a lack of hunger and you get destabilised when you make errors.

"That's the first time since I've been here that I was embarrassed. We brought the FA Cup into the team room (before the game) so they could see what we went through last year and provide that motivation.

"We still have a big part of the season to go and hopefully the players can go away and reflect on that. I can't mask from that, it's a huge blow. The basics and fundamentals were not there."

Bournemouth are moving it quicker but there is no threat in behind.

There has been a bit more fluidity but they need to shift gears.

The fans have been quiet which says a lot to me.

The Cherries continue to stroke it around just inside the Boreham half. It's going nowhere. After that game at the City Ground this is a very distinct change of pace. Sadly.

Lewis Cook is the most mobile of the three midfielders for Bournemouth. He is as likely as anyone to find the space needed. But other than that it is all too pedestrian for the Cherries. They need to be sharper to do damage.

Well, if Bournemouth thought they'd steamroller Boreham Wood tonight, this opening 20 minutes has corrected that.

The National League side are giving as good as they get.

Bournemouth move it much better to get Lewis Cook in down the right but his low cross is too close to away keeper Taye Ashby-Hammond, who is on loan from Fulham.

That way Boreham Wood won't be able to live with them.

Shift gears, play explosively, burst down the left hand down side and they cannot get close to them.

Finally, a sight of the home side on the front foot as Leif Davis beats his man and drives on before seeing his low cross put out.

The National League side have actually only lost twice all season. They don't concede often either. Just four goals in that 14-game unbeaten run.

They're full of confidence are Boreham Wood.

The corner is cleared but they keep pushing. On the front foot.

That is what 14 games unbeaten does for you.

The Cherries seeing a lot of the ball now. Being patient with it. Yet to fashion any threat.

Kane Smith, down the right-hand side, is an Everton fan so extra motivation for him to do well today. He will be telling his team-mates to get through.

The Boreham Wood fans are singing the old classic Que Sera Sera. 'Whatever will be will be, we're going to Wembley'. Can't fault their optimism.
