    That's as far as we go in here today.

    It was a good day for Championship table toppers Fulham, who beat Blackburn 2-0 and are now a whopping 12 points clear of third-placed Bournemouth. Their promotion back to the Premier League appears to be a mere formality.

    At the other end of the table Derby beat fellow strugglers Barnsley 2-0 to move to within five points of safety.

    League One leaders Rotherham suffered a 2-1 defeat by 10-man MK Dons and League Two leaders Forest Green were held to a 1-1 draw at Salford.

    Derby boss Wayne Rooney said his side had to win today if they were to stay up.

    And they did.

    A 2-0 win over Barnsley moved the Rams to within five points of Reading, who lost to Millwall.

    Peterborough got hammered 3-0 at Huddersfield yesterday and they look like they'll need snookers to stay up.

    Hull should have enough.

    It was a great day for league-leaders Fulham.

    They eased to a 2-0 win over Blackburn before watching third-placed Bournemouth blow a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at Preston.

    Middlesbrough climbed back up to sixth with a 2-1 win over Luton.

    • Newport went up to fourth following a 1-0 win over play-off chasers Bristol Rovers.
    • Swindon scored a 97th minute winner at Bradford to move into the final play-off spot.
    • In a relegation six-pointer Carlisle scored a stoppage-time winner to come from behind to win at Oldham.
    • The points were shared in East London with Leyton Orient scoring an injury-time equaliser against Stevenage.
    • Colchester defeated play-off chasing Port Vale 1-0 at the JobServe Community Stadium.

    • Plymouth, Ipswich and Portsmouth maintained their pursuits for a play-off place with victories over Morecambe, Fleetwood and Accrington respectively.
    • Struggling Doncaster were thrashed 4-0 at mid-table Cheltenham.
    • Relegation-haunted Gillingham were beaten 3-0 at home by Bolton.

    • Elsewhere, Derby County beat relegation rivals Barnsley thanks to a Ravel Morrison double, while lowly Reading were edged out 1-0 by Millwall.
    • Promotion-chasers Middlesbrough beat Luton 2-1, but high-flyers QPR fell 2-1 victims to Cardiff in a classic away smash-and-grab performance.
