Both teams have had some moments in this one but nobody has come closer than Stoke skipper Lewis Baker.

The former Chelsea man hit the post with a fine effort from outside the area in the opening minutes.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Bournemouth 0-1 Peterborough

A stunning lead for the Championship's bottom club and no doubt a lift for Grant McCann's side through Jack Marriott's goal.

Bournemouth have offered little so far.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Blackburn 0-0 Millwall

Blackburn should absolutely be winning this but they aren't.

If Millwall are to pick up a sixth successive win they'll need to improve in the second half.

Swansea head coach Russell Martin is furious with referee Jarred Gillett's decision to send off Ryan Manning but, at first glance, it looked like an ugly tackle on Fulham's Harry Wilson.

Manning slid in with his studs showing and appeared to catch Wilson above his ankle.

Wilson received some treatment but the Wales international is fine to continue.

We've had a goal at Crawley and it's Bristol Rovers who have taken the lead through Harry Anderson. The Gas had been on a decent run of late before defeat at Newport on Saturday and are one of the ten or so teams in with a decent promotion shout.

  8. goal

GOAL: Coventry 0-1 Lutonpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Elijah Adebayo (38 mins)

    A vital opener.

Coventry started this match on top but fellow play-off hopefuls Luton have snatched the lead.

Elijah Adebayo keeps a cool head to slot the ball into the bottom corner, leaving the Hatters in sixth place in the table as it stands.

  9. League One updatepublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

  10. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Swansea 0-0 Fulham

Bournemouth - currently third in the table - are a goal down and table toppers Fulham are under a decent amount of pressure at Swansea.

Can the Swans make the most of their spell on top though?

Michael Obafemi drives a powerful strike towards goal which is deflected out for a corner.

  11. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Blackburn 0-0 Millwall

    ANOTHER Blackburn chance goes begging.

This time John Buckley's low cross should be converted by Sam Gallagher but isn't.

Still only three league goals since the turn of the year for Tony Mowbray's side.

  12. League One updatepublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Middlesbrough

John Fleck has picked up an injury and makes way for Conor Hourihane.

  14. Postpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Bournemouth 0-1 Peterborough

That Peterborough opener has stunned the home fans.

Posh are still bottom of the Championship because of their woeful -44 goal difference compared to Barnsley and Derby.

But what a lifeline Jack Marriott's goal could be!

  15. Postpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Sheff Utd 2-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Joe Lumley makes an excellent stop to deny Morgan Gibbs-White.

Would have been very hard to see a way back for Boro had that gone in.

  16. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Blackburn 0-0 Millwall

Blackburn are doing all the running but, as has so often been the case of late, don't have a goal to show for it.

They've bagged just three goals in 11 matches so far this year.

  17. League One updatepublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    #bbcefl

    We've had a goal-rush in League One!

Third-placed MK Dons have scored twice in two minutes at home to Cheltenham, Troy Parrott and Mo Eisa with the goals. A win would see them go level on points with second-placed Wigan.

Play-off chasing Plymouth are ahead at home to struggling Wimbledon, Ryan Hardie on target for The Pilgrims.

Elsewhere there's more misery at the Stadium of Light as Ellis Harrison has given Fleetwood the lead at Sunderland.

Wes Burns has put Ipswich in front at home to Lincoln. The Tractor Boys are still in the hunt for a play-off place.

Dreamland for Sutton in their bid to reach Wembley on 3 April.

  19. Postpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    Sheff Utd 2-0 Middlesbrough

You could forgive Middlesbrough for being a bit rattled here.

Andraz Sporar has a great chance to pull one back from Isaiah Jones' pass but hits his shot over the crossbar.

  20. goal

GOAL: Bournemouth 0-1 Peterboroughpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March 2022

    That was unexpected!

The Championship's bottom side have a goal that pulls Bournemouth back out of the top two in the table.

Great composure is shown by Joe Ward with the run forward and he lays off Jack Marriott, who makes sure to score with a tidy finish.
