  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2022

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

An uninspiring first half comes to an end in Murcia.

  2. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

A succession of petty fouls has really broken up any rhythm that this game had.

You'd imagine that Pedro Martinez Losa will make changes at the break.

  3. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

A nice corner routine from Scotland sees Jen Beattie back-heel the ball into Caroline Weir's path.

She fires a cross into the six-yard box, but Abigail Harrison is flagged offside.

    Better...

  4. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

Still no real chances of note in La Manga.

I'm hoping that this post changes that, because that's how it works, right?

  5. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

Concern for Scotland here, as Caroline Weir looks to have twisted her knee as she closes down a clearance.

She's back on now though, and looks to be moving freely.

  6. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

Lilla Turányi flies into a 50-50 with Caroline Weir, and looks baffled when the referee awards the free-kick in Scotland's favour.

A poor Scottish touch in the box allows Hungary to clear.

  7. Postpublished at 22 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

Scotland sling in a cross from the left, and for a split second it looks like Barbara Bíró is in a spot of bother, but the Hungary keeper back pedals and claims the high ball well.

  8. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

Both sides are still just sizing each other up.

There have been a couple of hefty challenges in midfield, but we're still waiting for the game's first big chance.

  9. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

A real heart-in-mouth moment for Eartha Cumings as Hungary press high and pinch the ball off her toes.

She does well to dive at the feet of the opposition attacker and win the ball back.

  10. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Hungary

Caroline Weir has been seeing plenty of the ball in these early exchanges, and gets Abigail Harrison away down the left with a lovely pass.

She wins the first corner of the evening, which Hungary scramble clear.

    Scotland v Hungary (19:30)

Hungary dropped into the 5th-8th place play-offs after losing their opening match on penalties to Russia, who have since progressed to reach the final, but then bounced back to defeat Poland 2-1.

Scotland start as favourites tonight, but it will be far from easy. Henrietta Csiszar and Fanny Vago are two names to look out for - they have over 200 caps for Hungary between them.
