  1. Post update

    England 0-1 Netherlands

    It's stretched now.

England go on the attack, but then Rachel Daly has to sprint back and prevent the Netherlands adding a second.

  2. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

    Natasha Dowie

Reading and England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sherida Spitse's delivery is one of the best in the women's game. What a driven ball and what are header. Martens isn't known for her heading, but she timed that perfectly.

  3. Post update

    England 0-1 Netherlands

    Emma Sanders

    BBC Sport at Elland Road

An excellent header from Lieke Martens and Mary Earps seemed to be wrong-footed as she was already stepping the other way. England have been on the ropes a bit in the last few minutes.

  4. GOAL - England 0-1 Netherlands

    Lieke Martens (22 mins)

    The visitors are in front!

It's a wonderful, driven delivery from Sherida Spitse and Lieke Martens meets it with a superb header, using the pace of the ball to guide it beyond Mary Earps and into the far corner.

  5. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

    Emma Sanders

    BBC Sport at Elland Road

That was proper last-ditch defending from England - throwing bodies in front of the ball and quickly surrounding Lineth Beerensteyn. England have had a few chances but that was the best of the match so far from the Netherlands.

  6. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

    Pat Nevin

Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

The best movement I've seen is from Victoria Pelova. She's brilliant at seeing the spaces, she knows where the weaknesses are; she's running into dangerous areas and that is a real concern.

  7. GREAT SAVE!

    England 0-0 Netherlands

Neat combination from the Netherlands involving Lieke Martens and it ends in a goalmouth scramble that falls to Lineth Beerensteyn.

She spins and gets a shot off but it's a great save from Mary Earps! The goalkeeper is then clattered by Beerensteyn as the ball comes back in.

  8. CLOSE!

    England 0-0 Netherlands

The Netherlands have rode their luck a couple of times already with those undehit back passes and this time it almost ends in an England goal!

Great pressure from Lauren Hemp, she's right on top of Sari van Veenendaal and the goalkeeper boots her clearance into Hemp and watches anxiously as it bobbles narrowly wide.

  9. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

Fran Kirby is bundled over and wins a free-kick. Not much of an angle on this one, but Kirby zips it in and it's flicked into the path of Beth England, who just cannot get a toe on the ball to turn it in.

  10. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

    Emma Sanders

    BBC Sport at Elland Road

England have been physical which is a side we haven't always seen from them. Leah Williamson and Alex Greenwood have both put in strong defensive tackles. Each time, a man below us has shouted "oh, come on, yes" in a very strong Yorkshire accent.

  11. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

    Natasha Dowie

Reading and England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Lauren Hemp has everything. Right foot, left foot, can cut inside, can go outside.

    One to watch tonight.

  12. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

Easily gathered by the goalkeeper. Just as the drums in the Elland Road crowd were starting to thud more frequently.

  13. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

Oooh. Beth England almost pounces on a short back pass but goalkeeper Sari van Veenendaal is out quickly to hoof clear. Lauren Hemp wins a free-kick and this is a chance to deliver for the hosts...

  14. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

    Natasha Dowie

Reading and England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a start to the game. Netherlands are pressing high, they've been direct, which surprised me. England have players who are confident bringing the ball out under pressure. Rachel Daly is playing as a striker in the USA, she is a goal threat as well as being able to play fullback.

  15. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

Lively start to this one. The Netherlands enjoy their chance to drive forward but England deal well with a delivery in from the left.

  16. Post update

    England 0-0 Netherlands

As Emma mentioned earlier, slightly confusing that the Dutch are playing in white and England are in orange... anyway, it's no problem for the hosts who start brightly and work the ball patiently up the pitch before Fran Kirby clips a ball in from the right and Lauren Hemp flicks it over.

  17. KICK-OFF

    England 0-0 Netherlands

    Right then, here we go!

It's the Netherlands who get this one under way.

  18. Post update

    England v Netherlands (20:00 BST)

Anthems done, tracksuit tops ditched. It's almost go time at Elland Road...

  19. Post update

    England v Netherlands (20:00 BST)

    Natasha Dowie

Reading and England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is a massive opportunity for Beth England. This is why these games are played, to give opportunities to players who haven't played as much. Beth was scoring goals for Chelsea at the back end of the season, she got minutes the other day. She should have lots of confidence.
