  1. Goodbye!

And with that, it's time to say goodbye for the evening.

Stay across the BBC Sport website for all the latest news and reaction from this weekend's internationals and we'll be back with you very soon.

    Until then...

  2. Post update

But the headlines belong to this man.

Nine months since Christian Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020, the midfielder scored within moments of coming off the bench to make his international return.

    It was some goal, too.

  3. Post update

Who said international breaks are boring?

This has been a fun night of friendly action, starting with Republic of Ireland's 2-2 draw with Beligum before goals galore in Amsterdam as the Netherlands beat Denmark.

There were also wins for England, Spain and Germany.

  4. FULL-TIME

    Germany 2-0 Israel

All over. What a dramatic finish. Two missed penalties but Germany are deserved winners.

  5. FULL-TIME

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

    And that's it.

A very good game, and what a return for Christian Eriksen.

  6. MISSED PENALTY

    Germany 2-0 Israel

There's an incredible finish in Germany.

Israel have won a 94th minute penalty but Yonatan Cohen's attempt is saved by Kevin Trapp!

  7. Post update

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

Denmark have the ball in the net, but it won't count.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg nods in at the back post from a corner but he pushed his marker in the process.

  8. Post update

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

Andreas Skov Olsen does well to cut in from the right and squeeze a low effort on goal, but Mark Flekken gets down smartly to keep it out.

  9. MISSED PENALTY

    Germany 2-0 Israel

Germany win a penalty after substitute Lukas Nmecha is brought down in the box. Up steps Thomas Muller - and hammers it against the post.

  10. Post update

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

Six minutes added on. Still Denmark to pull at least one back...

  11. Post update

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

Oh. Philip Billing was ready to come on but he's been told to sit back down. Denmark must have used all their subs. They'll play with 10 men for the final two minutes.

  12. SUBSTITUTION

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

Joakim Maehle walks off to be replaced by Philip Billing.

  13. Post update

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

Denzel Dumfries and Joakim Maehle both go up for a header and clash heads in the air.

Maehle is going to need a bit of treatment - he's having his head taped to stop the bleeding, and it looks like Denmark are going to be allowed another change.

  14. Post update

    Germany 2-0 Israel

Amsterdam is the next stop for Hansi Flick's side and a heavyweight friendly against the Netherlands on Tuesday. That could be a cracker judging by how the two have performed tonight. A ninth straight win for Germany in midweek will really make people sit up and take notice.

  15. Post update

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

There's a Mexican wave threatening to break out in the Johan Cruyff Arena, but it's struggling to get beyond a ripple at the moment.

  16. Post update

    Germany 2-0 Israel

Kai Havertz's shift is over. He's just been replaced by former Manchester City player Lukas Nmecha. Another decent game by the Chelsea player.

  17. Post update

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

Into the final 10 minutes. We've had plenty of goals and dream returns, time for any more action?

  18. Post update

    Germany 2-0 Israel

Germany look to have done enough to make it eight wins in a row. They've taken their foot off the gas in the last few moments but Hansi Flick's side continue to gain some serious momentum with the World Cup just eight months away.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONS

    Netherlands 4-2 Denmark

    Triple change for the hosts.

Steven Bergwijn, Memphis Depay and Nathan Ake come off. Donyell Malen, Arnaut Danjuma and Tyrell Malacia are on.

Jannik Vestergaard also gets a rest for Denmark, with Jacob Bruun Larsen coming on.
