Almost a second for Christian Eriksen!

He turns superbly outside the box, has a quick glance at goal and then curls an effort against the post from distance.

That would have been some goal.

Steven Bergwijn has been superb and he grabs his second with a delightful finish.

The Tottenham man finds space down the left of the box, opens up his body and curls one into the far corner beyond Kasper Schmeichel.

That's his second of the night, and his fourth against Schmeichel in two games this year.

There's around 20 minutes left in Germany where Israel have had one attempt - and none on target. In contrast, the hosts have peppered the opposition goal with 16 attempts and seven on target.

Israel keeper Ofir Marciano has been outstanding. He's just made another save to keep out Julian Draxler.

Kasper Dolberg has looked good for Denmark since coming on, holding up the ball and linkng play well. Denmark think they can find a third in Amsterdam.

Andreas Skov Olsen almost gets in behind but delays his shot and Nathan Ake can get back goalside to stop the Denmark man getting a shot off.

Germany are continuing to dominate and are trying to add to those two first-half goals from Chelsea's Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.

Thilo Kehrer is the latest to be denied by Ofir Marciano, who has made a string of excellent saves.

Great play from Memphis Depay, twisting and turning his way between several Denmark defenders and accelerating into the box before Kasper Schmeichel denies him from a narrow angle.

The Netherlands are keeping it well now, taking a bit of the oomph out of what has been a hectic game.

The Dutch are playing some great stuff. Steven Bergwijn backheels a pass into Steven Berghuis' path but Kasper Schmeichel denies the forward.

It was classic Christian Eriksen, that goal. Calm, composed, understated but at the same time top class. Knew exactly where he wanted to put the ball.

That must be Christian Eriksen's first touch in a Denmark shirt since he suffered cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 last summer and he's whipped the ball into the top corner.

It's a lovely move by Denmark that sees Andreas Skov Olsen cut the ball back towards the edge of the box and Eriksen just sweeps it right-footed inside the far post.

What a finish, what a moment.

Louis van Gaal is among those to clap Eriksen on to the pitch and he applauds the reception in return. Another cheer follows as his name is announced over the tannoy.
