I was expecting Brennan to take the man on and shoot, but it was really cool, he slotted a pass eight yards out for the equaliser.

Colwill was there at the right time, a lovely, placed shot past the keeper.

    That's half-time.

A half of two halves, if you will.

Czech Republic were on top and deservedly led, but Wales have been excellent since they equalised.

    1-1, could go either way.

    See you in a few.

  3. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

Rabbi Matondo makes space and Will Vaulks shoots as he slides towards the ball and his effort clips the outside of the post.

A strong end to the half from Robert Page's side.

Nice effort from Michal Sadilek, but it is onto the roof of the net.

A let-off for Wales and Chris Mepham.

    Rubin Colwill

    That didn't last long!

Brennan Johnson shrugs off his marker and has a clear run down the right and this time his pull-back is perfect and Rubin Colwill is there to apply the finish.

It's Colwill's first Wales goal. Rob Page's side were behind for less than two minutes.

Rabbi Matondo breaks clear but after a superb run his shot is almost apologetic.

It's a shot on target, in name only.

  11. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Wales 0-0 Czech Republic

Sloppy defending from Wales and they concede a needless corner.... which they clear.

Czech Republic work the ball back towards Wales' goal, but Ondrej Lingr's shot is heading for a space station somewhere.

Right now Czech Republic are winning the transition battle.

Colwill could have held that a bit, Wales look nervous.

The final ball right now is letting them down, the pass it too big, they need to get up the pitch a bit more before passing it.

The visitors perhaps slightly on top here.

They have just wasted a chance with Michal Sadilek blasting over from long range.

It happens, we've seen it before, players a little off-balance, a little slip there and the a striker is in.

You're expecting him to slot it past the keeper but once Kuchta cut back inside he was always going to give the defenders a chance to get back.

  16. CLOSE!published at 12 mins

    Wales 0-0 Czech Republic

Really smart save from Wayne Hennessey.

A nice move from the visitors and Jan Kuchta gets a firm header on a teasing cross, but Hennessey collects at the second attempt.

    A top save.

  17. CLOSE!published at 10 mins

    Wales 0-0 Czech Republic

Wales almost get into a huge mess as Ben Cabango slips over, but Chris Mepham helps his team-mate out with a superb block to deny Jan Kuchta as he shot at goal.

I'm looking forward to seeing the likes of Brennan Johnson and Sorba Thomas, a lot of goals and assists between those two this season.

It will be interesting to see if Thomas can get forward and create chances from right-back.

It's a very young and inexperienced side, we're in a transition period.

If we don't go to the World Cup I think we'll see a massive transition.

I'm excited to see Rabbi Matondo - he's been on the fringes last few camps.

Strong run from Brennan Johnson, but his cross is just too deep for Rabbi Matondo.

    Nice break from Wales.

It's Johnson on the right and Matondo on the left of Wales' front three.
