  1. Thanks and goodbye

    Peterborough
Image caption: Peterborough lost 1-0 at home to Nottingham Forest to be relegated back to League One after one season in the Championship

Ok, that's far as we're going to go here today.

We'll have to wait and see what comes from the abandonment at Oldham v Salford on what is a very dark day for the Latics.

They were minutes from being relegated to the National League when a pitch invasion forced the game to be called off.

Elsewhere, Peterborough have been relegated to League One and Forest Green promoted from League Two.

We'll be back on Monday for the Lancashire derby between Preston and Blackburn in the Championship.

That's a 19:30 BST kick off so join us from 19:15.

Thanks for your company today and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  2. League Two full-time headlines

    Forest Green
    • Forest Green are promoted to League One for the first time in their history following a 0-0 draw at promotion-chasing Bristol Rovers.

    • Exeter are one win away from promotion after a 2-0 win over Rochdale.

  3. Grabban injury to be 'checked out' by Forest

    FT: Peterborough 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest consigned Peterborough to relegation to League One with a victory that moves the Reds to within a point of sealing a play-off spot.

But how costly could that win be? Striker Lewis Grabban, who came on a substitute, failed to see out the game and went off injured in the 89th minute.

Reds boss Steve Cooper, who has already seen Aston Villa loanee Keinan Davis ruled out for the season, said the extent of the injury is not yet known.

"We will check it out when we get back," he told BBC Radio Nottingham.

  4. Post update

    Oldham A-A Salford

Fans have finally been cleared off the pitch at Boundary Park.

The game was abandoned with 11 minutes left to play and the home side 2-1 down. A result that would have seen them relegated to the National League.

A lot of emotional reaction from fans calling in to BBC Radio Manchester. Fans who have cried, others who are angry.

The Latics were founder members of the Premier League in 1992 and have never been relegated from the Football League previously.

  5. 'Embarrassing' scenes at Boundary Park

    Oldham A-A Salford

Former Burnley, Peterborough and Salford City player George Boyd has told BBC Radio Manchester that the pitch invasion at Boundary Park has got "embarrassing".

"They have made their point. They could have stayed in the centre circle for five minutes, but this has got embarrassing.

"There are kids, teenagers fighting amongst themselves, fighting outside and sliding on the grass. It's poor."

  6. League One full-time headlines

    #bbcefl

    • Doncaster are all-but relegated despite a 2-0 victory over Burton as Fleetwood draw 1-1 with fellow relegation rivals Wimbledon.
    • Sunderland move up to fourth with an emphatic 5-1 at home to Cambridge.
    • Sheffield Wednesday slip out of the play-off places after suffering a 1-0 defeat at fellow play-off chasers Wycombe.

    Aleksandar Mitrovic
    • Peterborough are relegated back to League One as they fall to a defeat by promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest.
    • Dominic Solanke scores a last-minute penalty for second-placed Bournemouth to give them a 1-1 draw with Fulham and deny the Whites the title.
    • Sheffield United claim a narrow win over Cardiff City to stay in sixth place, as Millwall and Middlesbrough draw at Birmingham and Swansea respectively.

    • West Brom draw 0-0 with Coventry as Karlan Grant sees a last-minute penalty saved by Sky Blues goalkeeper Ben Wilson.
  8. Post update

We're continuing to get reaction to the unfolding events at Oldham, where the game has been abandoned with the Latics looking set to slip into non-league.

In the meantime, here are the headlines from the other leagues.

  9. 'A sad day for Oldham'

    Oldham A-A Salford

Oldham fans protest on the pitch

Oldham Athletic great Andy Ritchie, who played for and managed the club, is on BBC Radio Manchester reacting to the pitch invasion which forced the League Two game between the Latics and Salford to be abandoned.

"This is a pitch invasion for all the wrong reasons. We've had them for the right reasons when we have done well and got great results.

"This doesn't help anything. The fans are frustrated, I know they are, they want a change of ownership but you do it in a different way.

"You don't stop a football game, you wait until the game is over. If you have to show you emotions you show it then. They can do it in a better way.

"It looks as if there is trouble outside the ground as well. It's a sad day for the football club. I hate to see this."

  10. 'The EFL will want the game finished'

    Oldham A-A Salford

    Austin Halewood on Final Score:

"The fans have started to disperse now but there are still about 50 left on the pitch. The stands are completely empty, all the away fans have left.

"On the tannoy about five minutes ago, they said the game had been abandoned. However, with not long left in the season, the EFL will want this game finished today.

"It's a really sad day for Oldham fans. They say their club has been taken away from them - they have been saying that all season - but as founder members of the Premier League it looks like they are heading out of the EFL for the first time in their 116-year history.

"Three results needed to come in for that to happen. Barrow and Stevenage both won meaning Oldham needed at least a point to save themselves this afternoon.

"If the game resumes it will be Oldham 1-2 Salford with about 11 minutes to play."

  11. 'The little team on the hill' into League One

Forest Green promoted to League One

    Sophie Hurcom

    BBC West Sport

Forest Green's promotion to League One has looked so certain at points this season, it is easy to forget it has only been five years since the club was promoted to the English Football League for the first time.

The majority of their 133-year history has seen them more as a local village team than a professional outfit.

After falling short in the play-offs the last two seasons, automatic promotion has been the main target for the squad from Nailsworth.

The appointment of former Wales and Aston Villa player Rob Edwards as manager last summer - for the first time in his career - has proved a masterstroke.

Edwards, 39, has been praised for his forward-thinking approach. He signed few players and focussed on developing the young squad he already had - only seven of their 29 players are over 25 - fitting for someone who earned his coaching stripes working with the England youth teams.

Consistency has also been key. Forest Green have sat at the top of the table since September, before going on a run of 19-matches unbeaten into February that pushed them 10 points clear.

Remarkably, only 19 players have been fielded in the league and that has shown in their performances. This is a team that knows each other well and how they want to play.

Striker Matty Stevens is among those who has flourished under Edwards' management. Having spent most of last season out of favour and on loan, this year he's been a regular starter and the teams' top scorer.

His partnership with Matt up front - the 'Matt Attack' - has been so formidable they've scored 43 goals between them. Things have stuttered since February when Forest Green's unbeaten run came to an end and they went seven matches without a win.

The pressure seemed to show and their advantage dramatically receded enough to give other sides hope of reeling them in.

But another four victories followed, and while a recent 4-0 defeat to bottom of the table Barrow was a shock, Forest Green got over the line. The 'little team on top of the hill' have secured a historic promotion to League One.

  12. Poor recruitment costs Posh

    Peterborough relegated from Championship

    Francis Green

Ex-Peterborough forward and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire co-commentator

A lot of people will say recruitment will be probably the main reason Posh have gone down.

If you do get that wrong, ultimately it's going to cost you in the long run.

Most will probably look at this as an opportunity missed because it took eight seasons to get back in the Championship and all of a sudden now, with some of the clubs that may be in League One next season - the likes of Derby, Sunderland, Ipswich - it's going to be very hard to get out.

It obviously took until February for a managerial switch, with Grant McCann replacing Darren Ferguson, but still as a I squad don't think they'd have been good enough to stay in the Championship even if they made a change a little bit earlier.

It's going to be a big, big challenge next season. When Posh did get promoted last season there was no-one in the grounds - you're not going to get a season like that again - it was a one-off type of season.

These players are obviously capable of challenging for promotion next season, there's no doubt, and if they implement a way that McCann wants to play - and add a few players - then they've got a good opportunity, but they need to get it right from pre-season.

  13. Match abandoned at Oldham

    Oldham A-A Salford

It looks like Oldham's relegation won't be confirmed today as the Oldham fans who have invaded the pitch to protest against the clubs owners have caused the game to be abandoned, according to BBC Radio Manchester.

  14. FULL-TIME

    Hull City 3-0 Reading

Hull City cruise to a big win against struggling Reading who stay up anyway thanks to Peterborough losing at home to Nottingham Forest.

  15. FULL-TIME

    Birmingham 2-2 Millwall

Benik Afobe managed what Dominic Solanke did for Bournemouth and scored an injury-time penalty to give Millwall a share of the points here.

  16. FULL-TIME

    West Brom 0-0 Coventry

Karlan Grant had a great chance to win it for the home side in the last minute but his penalty was saved by Ben Wilson in the Coventry goal.

  17. FULL-TIME

    Bournemouth 1-1 Fulham

Bournemouth deny Fulham the Championship title, for now.

Aleksandar Mitrovic looked to have won the game and league for the Whites but the Cherries levelled through Dominic Solanke's penalty with virtually the last kick.

  18. GOAL: Birmingham 2-2 Milwall

    Benik Afobe (90+8 mins)

    WOW.

Benik Afobe keeps HIS cool to slot home from 12 yards out and earn Millwall a share of the spoils.

  19. GOAL: Bournemouth 1-1 Fulham

    Dominic Solanke (90+6 mins)

    HUGE.

Dominic Solanke makes no mistake from the spot after Adam Smith had been felled.

Fulham will not be winning the title today.
