It has been a frustrating performance from England.

Luke Shaw curls a decent free-kick into the box but Tim Ream is the first man there to hammer the ball clear.

Anon: Man of the match at the moment would be Maguire - for all the stick he's had around his club play, he's kept England alive. I think the USA will be disappointed to not be in front and it's largely been down to him.

It's not going England's way at all.

Harry Kane works the ball through for Bukayo Saka but a US defender comes across and whack his clearance against the Arsenal player. Goal kick.

Nathan: England looked like they scored all the goals for the World Cup in their last match against Iran.

Nick: Unfortunately, I think Southgate is too risk adverse for England to get too far into this World Cup. We need to be attacking from the start and not as a 2nd option constantly.

On the plus side, England aren't pinned in their own half anymore. It's just a dire midfield tussle now.
