said: “Hopefully the boys will turn up. Just 1-0 and then hope for a draw in

“It’s just fantastic, I’ve waited all my life for this. It’s
been a pleasure being here and experiencing Doha.”
His daughter Charlotte, 22, added: “Its been incredible. The whole
experience. Here among the Welsh fans.”
While most people filing into the stadium are either in red or
white, Harout Yacoubin, 24. Is carrying both a Wales and England flag.
From Lebanon, he is supporting Germany in the World Cup, but
added: “Tonight I am a neutral but think England will win as they have better
players.”

The 3-5-2 system that Page stubbornly persisted with against the USA and Iran clearly did not get the best out of the players available, despite many calls to switch to four at the back.
This now looks like a more balanced side, with greater numbers in midfield to help with defensive solidity and an attack which seems set up to try and give Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey the platform to rediscover their best form.
Whatever system Wales employ tonight, they're going to be up against it.

Protestor banned from attending games

You may have seen during Portugal's game with Uruguay yesterday that it was halted by a protestor who sprinted on to show support for Ukraine, Iran’s women and gay rights.
Well, Qatari authorities have now banned the individual from attending any further World Cup matches.
A Supreme Committee spokesperson told the Guardian: “Following the pitch invasion that took place during last night’s Portugal v Uruguay match, we can confirm that the individual involved was released shortly after being removed from the pitch. His embassy has been informed.
“As a consequence of his actions, and as is standard practice, his Hayya card [which allows international fans to enter the country and attend games] has been cancelled and he has been banned from attending future matches at this tournament.”

Welsh fans were close with the team they would have picked to face England. They nailed the front line, but preferred Brennan Johnson to Aaron Ramsey.
One player Wales fans are hoping will step up to the challenge tonight is captain Gareth Bale, who along with midfielder Aaron Ramsey received criticism for his performance during the 2-0 defeat by Iran.
The former Real Madrid superstar is often the player many in Wales turn to but Bale said he "does not feel responsibility" to carry the side to victory.
"We're a team. We're a nation and we work hard for each other. We need to deliver as a team, it's not one person that needs to do anything," Bale said.
"Of course we'd have loved to be winning and doing a lot better but the reality is, football is hard. If it was that easy, we'd be favourites to win the World Cup."
Tuesday's task will certainly not be easy but Bale has hope that Wales can cause an upset against their local rivals.
"Everyone has weaknesses," he added. "We know how difficult it will be. England are a very good team.
"They're one of the favourites to win the tournament. We are under no illusions it will be hard. There's been a few shocks in the tournament already and there's no reason why we can't do the same."
