It's a really good effort, Pouraliganji stooping low, trying to get some direction on the ball. It would have been harsh on this USA side, they have been the better team and created the better chances.

Was this the chance? Morteza Pouraliganji meets the free-kick with a diving header which goes just wide. That was as good a chance as Iran have had.

Yunus Musah gives Iran a free-kick on the left wing. Iran haven't sent as many people forward as I would have.

Abolfazl Jalali whips in a cross and Walker Zimmerman heads it away while Matt Turner was tyring to catch it. Better safe than sorry.
