A fantastic half for Luton.

We spoke about them possibly being nervous but they've stepped up and produced a dominant first-half performance.

They just haven't been able to get that killer goal, but hopefully they come out the same in the second half.

It's gone well in the fact it's 0-0.

Lee Nicholls has had way too much to do in the Huddersfield goal.

That it is 0-0 is the only positive. I don't know why they are sitting so deep.

Will Luton regret not taking their chances in that first half, because surely Huddersfield won't play so badly again after the break?

The Hatters have dominated proceedings - Harry Cornick spurning their best chance from close-range after Kal Naismith's perfect low cross.

The hosts haven't got going but have been given a reprieve, as it remains level on aggregate.

Danel Sinani curls it for Huddersfield but it's over and wide.

There's a mix up at the back between Luton's Kal Naismith and Sonny Bradley.

Huddersfield look to capitalise but Reece Burke makes a foul to stop them.

Luton midfielder James Bree is given space 20 yards out - he has a go but Lee Nicholls is more than equal to it in the Huddersfield goal.

Still quite passive defensively from the so-called Terriers.

Fortunately Town have got a quality replacement in Jordan Rhodes.

This is the strength of their squad. They've got someone who can score goals.

This is a massive chance for Jordan now.

However Huddersfield have a more than able replacement, as veteran Jordan Rhodes comes on to take the place of the injured Danny Ward in attack.

Approaching half-time now.

Huddersfield forward Danny Ward receives some treatment after going down, but trudges off and returns to the field.

Oh no - he goes down again.

Some neat footwork from Harry Toffolo gets him into the Luton box but he stumbles as he shoots - Luton keeper Matt Ingram makes a fairly regulation save.

For those who haven't seen much/any of Luton this season - this is what they're capable of.

Nathan Jones has them playing high-energy football, with a sprinkle of quality to make the difference.

They've just lacked the finishing touch tonight - remember, their top scorer Elijah Adebayo is only on the bench as he recovers from injury.

Huddersfield can't keep letting Robert Snodgrass have that kind of time to cross the ball in.

There's five players at the back. Why is he getting so much time?

Where's the talking? Everyone is sitting in the backline and nobody is making the decision to come out and close anyone down.

Something needs to change.

Huddersfield keeper Lee Nicholls forced into another save, this time James Bree with an effort palmed away.

Moments later Bree turns provider - Danny Hylton is oh so close to getting something on it but the ball just evades him.

This is one-way traffic for Luton.

Robert Snodgrass is fizzing in a number of left-footed crosses for Luton, but they've been unable to get on the end of one yet.

Huddersfield failed to take the initiative at kick-off and haven't been able to regain it since.

There is space in behind for Harry Cornick and Danny Hylton, who are making clever runs.

Luton have settled so well - they're defending really well, they look strong and dangerous going forward.

Huddersfield have had 74% possession but it's Luton who have carried more attacking threat.

So often we see this - the Terriers have shown signs of settling into this, though.

The home side have their first real purposeful spell of possession, with Luton not pressing quite as hard now.

But it breaks down - the Hatters come forward and Jordan Clark's attempted cross is cut out.
