Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall tells BBC Scotland: “The three goals we lost over the tie all came from our errors.

"They were a credit to the club tonight. We certainly didn't deserve to get beat, that's for sure, but I wish Inverness luck in the semi-final.

“We made a bad mistake for the goal and we created five or six really good opportunities, we’ve got to be more clinical.

"You can't ask more in terms of their attitude or from the togetherness with the supporters.

"There’s a reset now because we know we’ve got the nucleus of a team good enough to challenge to win this league

"We have 12, 13, 14 players good enough to win it [the league] and it’s about adding the right ones now."

“I can't say I enjoyed the game, we weren’t at our best, but I don't want to be downbeat because we're through. It's a tremendous result to get through and have a crack at Arbroath.

"We worked our socks off, we always do. I'd have liked another one to go in because you've always got that feeling in case they got one back.
