  1. Thank you and goodnight

That is all from us for tonight's Nations League games.

Join us again tomorrow as Wales try to reach the World Cup finals!

  2. Post update

    FT: Italy 1-1 Germany

Gianluigi Donnarumma is getting treatment after the final whistle here.

Looks like it came from the challenge he received in clearing that last corner. It looks to be his wrist.

Italy could really do without losing him for these Nations League games. He's their most experienced player now!

  3. FULL-TIME

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Well, we got some goals. And Italy will be pleased with both the result and performance.

It ends 1-1 between these two giants of the European game.

  4. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

In it comes and a combination of Gianluigi Donnarumma and a defender get it clear. That'll be our lot.

  5. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

The last chance will be Germany's. They have a corner...

  6. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Italy press for a winner deep in added time.

A free-kick is headed behind by a German head ahead of the diving Bryan Cristante. The resulting corner is woeful.

  7. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Italy will have learned more from this game than Germany about their team. It has been a really useful exercise for Roberto Mancini to see which of his squad are ready for these kind of opponents. The answer is quite a few of them.

  8. YELLOW CARD

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Timo Werner goes into the book after having plenty to say to the ref. The German striker isn't happy he was adjudged to have fouled Alessandro Bastoni. He didn't to be fair to him.

  9. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

The subs have definitely taking a bit of momentum out of the game.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONS

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Have these two settled for a point each? Or does someone fancy being brave?

Two more changes for Italy: Matteo Cancellieri for Gianluca Scamacca and Samuele Ricci for Davide Frattesi.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONS

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Here come more changes. Loads of them.

Serge Gnabry is off for Germany, with David Raum replacing him.

Tommaso Pobega and Federico Dimarco are on for Italy. Sandro Tonali and Cristiano Biraghi off.

  12. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

    Germany smell blood now.

Gianluigi Donnarumma tips away Jamal Musiala's cross and then gets up quickly to save Joshua Kimmich's shot.

  13. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Donnarumma is tested by a snapshot from Ilkay Gundogan.

Germany now in the ascendancy after that quickfire leveller.

  14. Post update

    Italy 1-1 Germany

Well, Italy just switched off there. And Germany took full advantage.

  15. GOAL - Italy 1-1 Germany

    Joshua Kimmich

    Well, that didn't last long!

The opener serves only to wake Germany up and they respond immediately. Timo Werner can't send Jonas Hofman's cross towards the goal, but the ball falls for Joshua Kimmich to fire home.

    The perfect response.

    Germany score
  16. GOAL - Italy 1-0 Germany

    Lorenzo Pellegrini

    Breakthrough!

Lorenzo Pellegrini has scored this - a tap-in from a few yards out - but the plaudits really need to go to 18-year-old Wilfried Gnonto.

He drives at his man on the left and fires over a pinpoint low cross that Pellegrini can't miss.

    Dream debut.

    Pellegrini scores
  17. SUBSTITUTION

    Italy 0-0 Germany

    Two more changes.

Ilkay Gundogan on for Leon Goretzka and Kai Havertz on for Thomas Muller. It all just got a bit more Premier Leaguey with 20 minutes to go.

  18. Post update

    Italy 0-0 Germany

    Oh, fluffed it!

Jamal Musiala is found on the left side of the box after Germany drive forward but he gets his shot all wrong, connecting with the base of his boot and not even giving Gianluigi Donnarumma a save to make.

  19. Post update

    Italy 0-0 Germany

Gnonto's first act is to win a free-kick by holding his ground under pressure from Jonas Hofman. Decent start for the kid and it draws cheers from the home crowd.

  20. YELLOW CARD

    Italy 0-0 Germany

Yellow cards all over the shop now.

Sandro Tonali deserves this one, for dragging back Serge Gnabry as he looked to break.
