A fortuitous penalty, but Scotland will take it.

Penalty given. On second viewing it looks harsh on Ukraine.

Ex-Scotland international speaking to BBC Scotland
I think the reality is the emotions were not the reason why the men lost. I think they were outclassed, they were outplayed and were ultimately beaten by a better side on the night.
The women's game is in similar circumstances, it will be emotionally driven, but I do believe Scotland are a better side than Ukraine - they have the better players.

Less than a month after Ukraine ended Scotland's men's hopes of reaching the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the women's sides go head-to-head in a fixture of equal importance.
Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the game will take place in Poland, at Rzeszow's Stadion Miejski, where the Scots can take a giant leap towards securing a World Cup play-off place with a victory.
