    Viking 0-0 Sparta Prague

Whoever wins at The Showgrounds will face Sparta Prague or Viking in the third qualifying round and it is another time affair in Stavanger.

The sides drew 0-0 in the first leg in Czech Republic and neither side have been able to break the deadlock 11 minutes into the return in Norway.

  2. Sligo out to avoid repeatpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 28 July 2022

    Sligo Rovers v Motherwell (19:00)

Sligo will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the last round, when a 2-1 win over Bala Town in Wales was followed by a 1-0 home defeat.

John Russell's side did eventually progress after a penalty shoot-out and will no doubt prefer to do the business over 90 minutes this time.

Sligo have already surpassed the experience they had the previous time they met a Motherwell side - losing 2-0 to Motherwell Colts as a guest team in the Scottish Challenge Cup back in 2018.

  3. Home and away troublespublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 28 July 2022

    Sligo Rovers v Motherwell (19:00)

Motherwell travel to Ireland having won just once in their last 13 away games, losing 6-0 to Celtic at the end of last season as the Glasgow side celebrated their league title with a demolition job on Graham Alexander's side.

However, they will be hoping to start their 2022-23 travels with a clean slate and will take heart from the fact Sligo have lost their last two home games - 1-0 to Bala Town in the previous round and 2-0 to UCD in their domestic league - although that did follow a run of five without defeat and four straight wins.
