Real Valladolid make two changes after the break with Oscar Plano and Mesa replacing Monchu and Alvaro Aguado

Barcelona get the second half started at Camp Nou.

Barcelona are unbeaten in their last 16 La Liga matches when leading at half-time (W14, D2) dating back to 29th April 2021 against Granada (L1-2).

Ousmane Dembele seemed a lot more dangerous after swapping wings with Raphinha in the first half. He hadn't been able to have much of an impact earlier in the match but Xavi's change brought him into the game.

Barcelona are two goals to the good at the break and there will be few complaints about that goal being deserved.

The hosts have looked sublime in the final third and have left Valladolid with very little room to make an impression on the game.

Sergi Guardiola (no relation to Pep) tries his luck from range for Valladolid but it goes over the bar. That would have been some goal.

Both players are back up and play has recommenced. They'd jumped up to challenge Gavi in the air and headed each other.

There's been a clash of heads and Fernandez and Sanchez are receiving treatment for Valladolid.

Dembele dances down the right and cuts onto his left foot but his shot is tame and easily held by Masip.

The hosts have come out with the same level of intensity after that drinks break. Valladolid's defence are having to face relentless pressure.

The players have a drinks break on the half-hour mark.

Raphinha has been the standout player from this match so far. He's given a real sense of energy to Barcelona's front line and is causing a lot of problems for the Valladolid defence.

Close! Barca hit the woodwork for a second time. The ball finds its way to Dembele inside the box but he clips the top of the crossbar with a powerful effort.

The hosts are already up to eight corners so far in this game but they haven't been able to do much in the way of making them count.
