Celtic, galvanised by the goal, are pinging the ball about with confidence.
United trying to hang on in there.
Dundee Utd 0-1 Celtic
Nearly a quickfire second for Celtic!
First Matt O'Riley is denied by a sprawling Carljohan Eriksson save.
Then Reo Hatate has two shots blocked by desperate United defending, before rifling his third attempt on target.
Eriksson stands strong to bat it away.

Quote MessageI was waiting for the flag. The ball through is sensational, as is the first-time pass from Jota to Kyogo. He looked offside, I looked to the linesman expecting a flag but he's in a perfect position. He finished brilliantly, though.
Kyogo Furuhashi
Celtic's strike talisman does it again.
A superb pass from Liel Abada on the halfway line finds Jota on the left and his cross picks out Kyogo to take a touch on the edge of the box and coolly fire into the bottom corner.
That's a fourth goal in four games for the Japan striker.
Dundee Utd 0-0 Celtic
Joe Hart tries to control an awkward backpass on his chest, only to let the ball slip behind for a corner.
United can't make it count though.
Dundee Utd 0-0 Celtic
Has the stoppage disrupted United's bright start?
Celtic are straight on the attack and Jota cuts in from the left to let fly, but a deflection takes the sting off the shot.
Dundee Utd 0-0 Celtic
Benjamin Siegrist is warming up on the sidelines, but the ex-Dundee United keeper's Celtic debut will have to wait as Joe Hart looks okay to continue after lengthy medical attention.
He has to change his blood-stained kit first, though.

Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound
Quote MessageFletcher's booking is harsh. If the ball is there, as a striker, you've got to go for it. As an ex-goalkeeper, I've taken a few bashes myself. The striker has to react. He has every right to go for it.
Dundee Utd 0-0 Celtic
Bloodied Joe Hart is still down receiving treatment to his head wound.
Dundee Utd 0-0 Celtic
Joe Hart to the rescue for Celtic - and he's taken a right sore one in the process.
The keeper produces an excellent stop from Glenn Middleton's bouncing effort, then bravely claws away the rebound before being clattered in the face by on-rushing Steven Fletcher's boot.
The United striker earns a booking.

Slightly later than planned, Celtic get us under way at Tannadice.
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
United boss Jack Ross tells BBC Sportsound: "We're in a period where we're not producing the level of performances to win games so you've got to search the right solution. That's a long thought process.
"We've picked a team that gives us energy and impetus, players that have been waiting for the opportunity, and gives us the best chance against today's opponents.
"We've got five under-22s starting the game. We should see a hunger. We need that today against a top, top team to get close to them all over the pitch.
"I communicate with my players on a daily basis, irrespective of good times or bad. The content of these conversations changes but the consistency of the communication remains.
"We need to be considerably better, performance-wise first of all."
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
It's been nearly eight years - and 16 fruitless attempts - since Dundee United last tasted victory against Celtic.
Goals from Nadir Ciftci and Stuart Armstrong secured a 2-1 Tannadice win in December 2014, propelling the Terrors to second in the league behind the Parkhead side. Heady days.
Both United scorers would go on to join Celtic in the following months.
And United's manager at the time, Jackie McNamara, is on Sportscene pundit duty for tonight's highlights show on BBC Scotland at 19:15.
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou tells BBC Sportsound: "I felt it was a good time for us to give some game time to some guys. We've got a lot of games coming up, we're going to need the whole squad.
"The three boys who've come in have been training hard and are close to full fitness. It just gives us more options moving forward.
"[Giorgos] Giakoumakis wasn't feeling well yesterday, so we decided to leave him out but he'll be alright for Wednesday.
"We've got good memories here from last year but the last one was a tight game, they made us work hard for it.
"The only thing we can control is our performance. If we play well, at our best, we're hard to stop.
"In terms of the transfer window, there's still a few days left. We'll see what happens. We've worked hard to make sure we've got a good shaped squad."
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
Dundee United sporting director Tony Asghar insists Jack Ross' position as manager is not under threat despite the club's shaky start.
Speaking to BBC Scotland a couple of days ago, Asghar said: "We've had a blip, but we don't have knee-jerk reactions to outside influences.
"We are all in this together - players, staff, fans - and we can't let two or three bad results or performances change that."
Asghar dismissed rumours that Ross had quit in the wake of last week's defeat to St Mirren as "crazy talk" and "fake news".
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
Celtic have glorious memories of their previous trip to face Dundee United, despite failing to win.
That 1-1 draw on 11 May was enough to reclaim the title as Ange Postecoglou crowned his first season in charge with a double.
Celtic wasted no time in getting the party started on the Tannadice pitch.
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
Dundee United find themselves propping up the table after Kilmarnock climbed off the bottom with a comeback win over Motherwell yesterday.
United's fortunes have quickly nosedived, with their only point coming on opening day and swiftly followed by three successive league defeats, making it their worst league start since 2003-04.
Amid that run there was also the infamous 7-0 Europa Conference qualifying hammering away to AZ Alkmaar that looks to have drained confidence from Jack Ross' side.
Halting champions Celtic would be quite the way to end the slump.
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou shuffles his pack with three changes to the side that beat nine-man Hearts last weekend.
Carl Starfeldt and Liel Abada make their first starts of the season, while Reo Hatate comes into the starting 11 for the first time since the opening day.
Moritz Jenz, David Turnbull, and Daizen Maeda all drop to the bench.
There's no place in the squad for new signing Sead Haksabanovic or Giorgos Giakoumakis.
Dundee Utd v Celtic (12:00)
Four straight wins, 12 goals scored and just one conceded. It's been a flawless start to Celtic's title defence so far and top spot is their aim today.
A fifth victory on the bounce win would restore their two-point cushion over Rangers - who visit Celtic Park for the first Old Firm derby of the season next weekend - and make it 37 Premiership games unbeaten.
Celtic have only lost one of their last 14 visits to Dundee United in all competitions (W9 D4), winning six of their last eight (D2).
