Good defending by two Dinamo players to stop Raheem Sterling's run into the box and see it run out for a goal-kick.

Mason Mount just overhits a through ball to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was slightly caught on his heels.

Mislav Orsic has netted five goals in his last four games against English teams in European competition (three v Spurs, one v West Ham and Chelsea).

He has scored in each of his last four games in Europe.

    Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 Chelsea

Dinamo Zagreb lost three of the last five Champions League matches in which they scored the opening goal.

One of those was a 7-1 loss at home to Lyon on 7 December 2011... after a 17-year-old Mateo Kovacic - in Chelsea's midfield today - had put them ahead.

The corner is cleared and then a Chelsea player concedes a free-kick.

  6. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 Chelsea

A bit of pinball round the Dinamo box and no Chelsea player can get proper control for a shot. They have a corner though.

Seydou Doumbia, Lionel Messi, Sardar Azmoun, Alvaro Morata, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mislav Orsic - the first Champions League scorer in each of the past six seasons.

    Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Copenhagen

It's pretty much all Borussia Dortmund now. The hosts have only failed to score in one of their last 16 Champions League matches, and they are all over Copenhagen at the moment...

As I write that a swift visiting counter-attack ends in a corner from which David Khocholava directs an effort wide.

    Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 Chelsea

If Mislav Orsic's name sounds familiar, he scored a hat-trick against Tottenham to knock them out of the 2020-21 Europa League.

He scored against West Ham last season too.

  10. 'Fofana should've caught him!'published at 18:03 British Summer Time 6 September 2022

Dinamo Zagreb v Chelsea (17:45 BST)

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BT Sport 4

Incredible! I really thought Fofana, with the pace he has, should've caught him. I think Tuchel is looking at it and wondering how on earth he’s scored from there!

GOAL - Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 Chelseapublished at 13 mins

    Mislav Orsic

Dinamo Zagreb attack for the first time... and score.

Robert Ljubicic plays the ball forward and Bruno Petkovic flicks it into the path of Mislav Orsic.

Orsic is in his own half but Chelsea have such a high line that his first touch takes him one on one with Kepa from the halfway line.

He holds off Wesley Fofana all the way and then just pokes the ball past the advanced keeper and it rolls into the back of the net.

    Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Chelsea

Major Marc Cucurella vibes from the hair of Dinamo left wing-back Robert Ljubicic. Shame Cucurella isn't starting.

    Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Chelsea

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already been involved as much as Romelu Lukaku was in some Chelsea games. He gets in behind again but his cross is blocked.

From the corner Kai Havertz flicks the ball to the keeper.

  14. 'Great move from Chelsea'published at 17:56 British Summer Time 6 September 2022

Dinamo Zagreb v Chelsea (17:45 BST)

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BT Sport 4

You wonder, should Aubameyang go and attack that near post? Great move from Chelsea, what a turn of pace from Havertz!

  15. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea are starting to get a bit of joy in behind the home defence now. Kai Havertz speeds down the left and squares for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who hadn't gambled with an empty net up for grabs.

  16. Elsewhere in Europepublished at 17:53 British Summer Time 6 September 2022

    Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Copenhagen

Almost a great start for the visitors. Copenhagen captain Carlos Zeca unloads from the edge of the Dortmund area and grazes the outside of the post.

Jude Bellingham is making his 17th appearance in the Champions League this evening for the hosts. No English teenager has made more in the competition although Theo Walcott also managed 17 as a teenager.

  17. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Chelsea

Unselfish from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Raheem Sterling plays in the Chelsea debutant, who could shoot but instead pulls it back for Sterling, who had made a run.

Sterling's shot is blocked... and actually the offside flag pops up so it wouldn't have counted.

  18. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea, in their white away kit, are seeing a lot of the ball early on. Reece James just overhits a cross.

    Under way in Croatia.

Raheem Sterling becomes the fifth player to play in the Champions League for three different English clubs - Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.

The others were David Batty (Blackburn, Leeds, Newcastle), Kolo Toure (Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City), William Gallas (Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham) and Yossi Benayoun (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool).
