No added time and it's goalless at the break. Little in the way of clear cut chances, thanks in part to the conditions but still all to play for.

Sarah Zadrazil tees up Julia Hickerlsberger-Fuller and her shot is not too far away as it flies over the bar on Lee Gibson's right-hand side.

Quote MessageIt may be worthwhile in switching Scotland's wide attackers for a spell. But it is more Scotland's defensive side that's worrying me; down Scotland's right on the left of Austria's attack

Scotland's deliveries just haven't been good enough. Every ball seems to hit the first Austrian defender. That's if we get that far, Claire Emslie's been given a torrid time by Laura Wienroither at right-back.
Hopefully now the rain has finally stopped it may help...

Oh Claire Emslie, you had all the time in the world!
A delightful little clip in from Rangers' Sam Kerr towards her just catches her off guard.
Momentum is well and truly with the home side.
Scotland 0-0 Austria
A promising move for Scotland as Martha Thomas tries tee up Erin Cuthbert but the ball just doesn't fall for the Chelsea attacker.
The ball is recycled to Caroline Weir, whose low bouncing cross is collected by Manuela Zinsberger.
Moments later, Claire Emslie tries to get on the end of Sam Kerr's cross but her volley goes high up in the air and into the arms of the goalkeeper.

Quote MessageIt's been a bit scrappy in the last five minutes or so. It feels like Scotland are trying to force it forward now and some passes aren't making it or bobbling out. Scotland need to shorten the game and get back to being brave

Nicole Billa is just starting to grow into the game a little bit. Credit to Lisa Evans who has kept her at bay so far as she drifts out on to the left.
Billa equalled England's Beth Mead as top goalscorer in qualifying Group D with 13 goals.
Scotland 0-0 Austria
Austria threaten on the right edge of the box as Nicole Billa attempts to curl a shot into the far corner, but the ball drops over.

A really encouraging start for Scotland, Claire Emslie is finding a lot of space on the left flank.
A delightful strike on the edge of the box from Caroline Weir held well by Manuela Zinsberger. It'll take something special to get by the Arsenal goalkeeper tonight.

Quote MessageI think we'd have needed VAR to see if Martha Thomas was onside or not. Sam Kerr does well with her positioning and finds the pass to Thomas with her vision, she always sees the game in front of her well
Scotland 0-0 Austria
Scotland win a corner and, after an initial clearance, Caroline Weir takes the ball down and guides a shot on target but it's a straightforward save for Manuela Zinsberger.
At least it was a shot on target for the Scots.
Scotland 0-0 Austria
The ball is skidding along the turf at slow pace as Austria play their way out of defence and play a long ball.
Scotland get going again and Sam Kerr tries to get Martha Thomas through but the Austrians recover.
Scotland 0-0 Austria
Claire Emslie whips a cross into the Scotland box, which travels all the way to the right for Lana Clelland to retrieve. She's bundled over but there's no free-kick.
Scotland 0-0 Austria
Scotland press with Caroline Weir turning well near halfway then finding Lana Clelland. Clelland can't get an effective ball into the box but encouraging signs for Scotland.

Few hearts in mouth there, but Lee Gibson thankfully with the safest hands inside Hampden.
It's teeming it down, here, so expect a few weather-enforced moments...

Quote MessageIt's clearly top-quality opposition for Scotland this evening. A lot of them play at a top level for their club sides. If Scotland can get to grips with the conditions and get into their rhythm, the weather could play into their hands tonight
Scotland 0-0 Austria
Austria win an early corner and Verena Hanshaw tests Scotland goalkeeper Lee Gibson from the edge of the box but Gibson deals with it, palming the ball before claiming.
