Rico Lewis, aged 17 years and 346 days, is the youngest player to score on his first start in the Champions League, breaking the record held by Karim Benzema (17 years 352 days for Lyon v Rosenborg).
Hard to think of Benzema as a youngster isn't it.

City are really going for this now. Phil Foden should shoot with his right foot from Riyad Mahrez's cross but he lets the ball roll over to his left foot and then has a shot blocked.

Nice play from Chelsea. Trevoh Chalobah drives through the middle. It comes to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the left. He flicks it on to Ben Chilwell, he cuts back, leaving the full-back on the floor, but Aubameyang's cross is then way overhit.

What a goal. What a way to score. Rico Lewis cannot hide his smile. He could have squared it but instead fires it into the top corner. Such a good finish. He took it by the scruff of the neck.

Since Jack Grealish has gone off Phil Foden is now playing in that left forward position, playing in that pocket. I think Pep Guardiola was not happy with Grealish in that first half. It is a difficult type of game for him to play in. Guardiola obviously liked the link-up between Ilkay Gundogan and Foden on that left-hand side - he wanted to get them closer together.
Rico Lewis (52 mins)
The 17-year-old!!
Julian Alvarez plays a lovely through ball to Rico Lewis, who lets the ball run in front of him and then hammers in a first-time shot past Bono at the near post.
This is his first senior start.
